I find it quite amusing that someone who's had 29" of snow already this winter is complaining it's not cold enough and wants more...you've had more snow this winter than there's been here in the last 10yrs...i guess you get spoiled up there though...
Light rain here...! just seen on Net that central London and south coast beaches woke up to a covering of snow this morning...!? what happened to the THI and coastal warmth there then...bet it shocked all the pensioners in Bournemouth...
Oh...and the eastern states of the US are getting hammered with snow...again...
Snow all gone here on the coast, as soon as the wind turned NEly last night showers were sleet/rain with rapid thaw, temp up to 4degC at present...yesterday was so perfect too...hope those colder uppers come back...
At least us on the east coast eventually had some decent snowfall, i was in heaven for half an hour this afty...not looking too promising now though but then again Met Office had us down for sleet today...
Had really heavy snow here 4:15-45pm, everything got well covered, approx 1cm, stopped for a while and started melting, but snowing again now...temp -0.5degC...well surprised...
Met Office radar just updated, heavy ppn now coming down the east coast, hitting Scarborough/Bridlington now, cloud to north of me looking interesting...
Pic of our first lying snow this winter...and for those of you that live inland, a pic of what the sea looks like in a Nly gale...temp up to 1.5degC, some thicker cloud pushing in from north now...nothing on radar though...
