  1. Just got a bit excited as i saw some wet flakes coming down...maybe as temp drops we'll get more...can't see it freezing on the coast tonight though...
  2. Just had heavy precip here and started turning sleety but eased off again to rain...might be too late by Feb...if bloody Jet-stream was in right place we'd have be having a beast from the east for the past month, looks like really mild air will push over the UK High into Scandinavia next week while Italy/France/Spain will be below freezing...!!!
  3. Fantastic line of heavy showers developing in Nth Sea, hitting us full on now...shame it's all rain...Yorkshire/Lincolnshire Wolds and Norfolk may get quite a bit of snow though...
  4. It's nice to hear that some places are as snow-averse as where i live...
  5. Still no snow here on east coast, just cold and wet...needs to be 5degC colder than elsewhere for it to turn on coastal strip, hoping the High will build next week and get progressively colder then might have a chance of some of the white stuff falling...probably miss us again though and hit the NW+SE...
  6. Well...signing off now, enjoy the snow...if you have any, quite gusty Nly winds now...
  7. Wind's turned Nthly now...rain easing to showers...
  8. Well pigged off with this situation, when 1st f/cast it looked awesome, deep Low in Nth Sea by Saturday, big waves, Arctic air coming down bringing snow for east coast...always the same...unless i am somewhere else...then it snows...i think the weather has something against me...heading for a snowless 2014 me thinks...
  9. I've known lightening occur in snowstorms...
  10. After a snowless winter last time round i wanted to move...if it happens again this time it's a distinct possibility...
  11. Only rain here north of the Humber, looks like the snow will stay south of us...great...wish i lived more than 5m asl...
  12. Hi guys, been lightly raining here for an hour or so, temp around 2degC...looks like no snow for us as Low is tracking SE taking the main precipitation away from our part of E.Yorkshire...north of the Humber estuary...thought the f/cast was too good to be true...
