  1. stained glass window it anyway...the northern arm of those showers is dying off big time. Hopefully the showers further north start blowing in a more. Southerly direction! Fermanagh looks to be the sweet spot so far. Was a lot of snow lying around Maguiresbridge when I passed through earlier
  2. @Mixer 85 had to be done haha Looks like next batch of heavy snow heading a bit further north and should be a direct hit on the Omagh area. Snowing nicely here in Omagh now too.
  3. Been down in Kinnegad Westmeath at work today. Huge snow going down the road and stopped in Lisnaskea on way home to video this. Huge snow falling and pile more heavy showers moving into NW now!!
  4. @Weegaz it's proper fat big flakes out here. Very heavy too.
  5. Driving to westmeath for work today. Here's Fivemiletown in Tyrone. Heavy snow moving into the west now. Keep the faith, it's getting colder and showers WILL be snow!!
  6. No snow in Omagh area yet...although there's a tasty bunch of heavy wintry precipitation less than 15 mins away with back up in the wings.
  7. Haha alright then...honestly would be extremely surprised if no deal will be allowed to happen. My thoughts on the way forward are: 1. Delay on Brexit day 29th March for 3 months or so. 2. An eventual return to an NI only backstop (this was the original deal in Dec 2017). This will clearly cut off the DUP but may garner enough cross party support to compensate their loss. Also allows GB to have the trade independence the ERG crave. 3. May steps down as leader before the end of 2019 (part of the deal with tory back benches) and at some stage an early y general election called with a new tory leader.
  8. Big Marco replied back to me on twitter...dodged any real insight into their thoughts. I wonder is there a slight dig at chief forecaster as in if you get snow don't blame me! Haha
  9. Precipitation hasn't reached me yet. Will keep you all updated. In meantime, Marco Petagna tweeted me back about warning. I pulled him up on lack of snow in warning... Will see what he says back.
  10. Haha if I got started on the B word I'd never shut up!!
  11. Haha with the upcoming snow and a Brexit addiction my phone battery is taking a hammering!!
  12. Haha Met office finally release a warning... And it's pretty pathetic!!
  13. Unreal... Here's latest met office update. Spends whole time talking about rain/sleet/snow band crossing England and fails to mention NI getting constant showers the whole time. Am I missing something??
  14. Dew points around zero now. Noticeable drop off in temps outside in past hour. Showers moving back in on a WNW wind it seems. Already turning wintry over Donegal.
  15. Here you are, didnt take him long to get back. Hopefully we get an update this evening.
  16. I tweeted Marco Petagna from the met office to get his read on it. He's usually very reachable and open in sharing his opinion. A great follow if you're on twitter.
  17. How have the UK met not released a warning for NI for tonight/tomorrow morning? More interested in a few cms for the SE? Looks like it could be pretty hazardous for rush hour in the morning.
  18. Could that be a polar low type of system? Maybe it's a bit early for a event like that to show? Picked this up from the mod thread. Is the system coming in from the NW the same?
  19. Will those showers make it as far as Cookstown, Boofer?
  20. Model thread impossible at the minute. As someone said you'd be forgiven for thinking it was the SE England regional!! Wind is fairly picking up outside, BTW. There'll be a good bite in the air tomorrow morning.
