    We had a few distant rumbles earlier. Those storms in NE France may clip the extreme east.

    It appears that there is a heavier bit around guildford that seems to be giving off sparks.

    Would you say that they sound elevated? UPDATE: My lights have all just flickered twice. Is that a sign that something is close?

    Oh no, they are doing shooting exercises on ash ranges today that sounds a bit like thunder when you are inside and can't hear it clearly.

    Yes its very annoying. I have stayed up ALL NIGHT just to watch some light rain . In fact the 1 distant rumble I heard could've been a plane.
