Cloudy all day, and we have just had some light rain, but appears to have stopped now.

Wow - the fog is amazingly thick here, I can hardly see my garden shed! It hasn't cleared since yesterday morning!

Harpenden appears to be the only place in the South East without fog! The fog's pretty thick here.

Had some pretty heavy rain last night, that woke me up. Today has been cloudy with on-and-off drizzle.

Cold and overcast here at the moment. No drizzle like some other places, though.

Today was nice with some cloud around. But, around 1440 the wind got up and a shower passed. That lasted around 30 mins and now it looks like it's going to rain again...

Pretty cloudy this morning, but it's all cleared up by 1400 now to leave a clear afternoon and evening. Very chilly .

Been to Farnborough to see Vulcan XH558 for the last time today. It was very emotional. Feeling chilly today.

Today has seen some REALLY heavy, but brief showers about. NO THUNDER THOUGH, so that has made me dissapointed.

Hmm, well those 'thunderstorm's didn't materialise did they? Rain, rain, rain today so far. Here's hoping for a spark or two in the showers tomorrow.

I'm going up in the Cessna today, luckily a lovely day for it! Actually, as I type a sort of white low-mid level cloud has filled the sky, so no sunshine at the moment.

Nice day once again here, but also once again lots of cumulus around by lunchtime.

Lack of high cloud today, hence more cumulus due to the stronger sun. The cumulus has all gone now to leave a cloudless evening. I have a question. Last night I looked out (at around 2200) of my window and saw it to be cloudy with what appeared to be some sort of cumulus/altocumulus filling the skies. I have also seen it another night around the same time, when the day before has been pretty much cloudless. It has all disappeared by the morning though. Why does it come at night when convection is low, rather than the daytime?

Yes, the flight has been moved to next Saturday, so am praying for good weather. Today got off to a very foggy start, but that cleared by 10 to leave a beautiful day, with just a tiny bit of cumulus around.
