  1. Working in IIford London today, certainly hot, hotter than being comfortable by some degree but not as oppressive as in July, strength of the sunshine is the main factor. Don't get me wrong still bloody horrible for working in but at least this will soon revert to seasonalish weather by Thursday thankfully. Autumn will be here, welcomed with open arms!
  2. Its not a struggle mate for anyone, its a preference. We are all different, nothing to laugh about surely?
  3. Fair to say today was at the very top of the comfortable scale for many, suspect strongly that come Thursday most will be glad of the change to much cooler conditions. Working in these temps really makes a difference, lot harder and a lot more draining.
  4. Fear not, it will soon be gone. Autumn will soon be joining us
  5. I agree. For me its the intensity of the sunshine at this time of year, gone is the harshness of June and July, far more mellow but temps still more than respectable. Humidity also down, again a bonus. Days like this are why September can be one of the best months of the year
  6. What a beautiful summers Sunday morning.....in Autumn! Lovely feel, nicely warm, perfect.
  7. You must work in a shipping container then...you'd be hard pushed to get any UK building that low in temp without deliberately trying! i can only get my bedroom down to 8c in a beast from the East with my windows open all day! And i never never have any heating on upstairs!
  8. Or inversely is it you struggling in temps less than 18c?.....One persons struggle is another's person's joy don't forget! That's my Confucius bit for th morning!
  9. Your very lucky then, i struggle to remember where i was last week, who i spoke to, which clients they where and certainly what weather i had!!.
  10. How on earth do you remember what you did on a certain xmas day nearly 34 years ago including what the weather was like??!! When you were aged 11!!
  11. You can certainly get more done more comfortably in this type of weather than 25 to 30c heat! Becoming a really good bank holiday for all those out door jobs!
  12. It's like we all have our internal thermostats set at a different level, find it so interesting. I'd find 28c far above comfort level heat wise but inversely you'd find my comfortable colder temp far to cold to be comfortable. Is it biology or conditioning? Whatever it is we are all different, thats the main thing!
  13. Looks like air con is back on tonight its been that nice today!
  14. Another lovely start to a weekend, clear skies, strong sunshine, temps perfect. Can't complain at all!
  15. First night without aircon running in bedroom tonight for 2 months....byebye Summer....Hello lovely Autumn!
  16. That's only your opinion though. My opinion is different, i respect your view but neither of us is right or wrong. But Defend? very weird choice of word in my view.
  17. Another very useable Summers Sunday, nice breeze, sunshine coming and going, bit of patchy drizzle at first but not bad at all. Only had a few Sundays this season when outside activities were curtailed. Can't complain at all.
  18. Oh dear god...your just not getting it, better leave it that ok.
  19. Well that is just as wrong!! Its a preference...nothing else. Unless it becomes a extreme(heat or cold) then its different.
  20. Nope you've lost me totally. "they can't stand" ? Its a preference not a who can stand the heat the best competition!!
  21. I agree, that week on my travels every single person was saying the say thing, heat and humidity was not liked as far as the folk i meet with. And that experience covered approx 2/3rds of England and Wales. Can't comment on Scotland as i wasn't there.
  22. Again in your area probably not...but the UK extends far wider than London don't forget
