  1. Lovely start again, really are being spoilt in God's own county. Breaking through sun, gentle breeze, perfect Summers day start.
  2. Another near perfect summers day. This Summer is certainly pushing a good 8/10 for most North of London. Nothing to complain about at all really to be honest. Outlook for late Summer is looking good also, so 2021 Summer proving to be not to bad at all!
  3. Was working in South Wales today, near Swansea, Sheffield to there and back, mostly broken sunshine, blue sky, temps well into the 20's. On site in Wales, very warm, not humid, actually near to perfect as you can get. Most will have enjoyed it.
  4. I've got to agree, today has been near as perfect as a UK Summer should be, lovely temps, bit of a breeze, plenty of sun....nobody can possibly moan about this can they?
  5. So glad i'm not in Seville this weekend, that looks horrific temps, not nice at all
  6. All i'm saying the folk who i have met face to face have told me what i have posted.
  7. 150 to 200....handful? (ref a previous post).Across the country as well.
  8. !6mph wind is far from screaming.....that is the current wind speed in your area
  9. Don't forget mate if some folk haven't the means to move or mitigate ie aircon they haven't a choice. Some simply can't move financially or due to family.
  10. I can't moan at your post....i'd be moaning about moaning about moaning on a moaning thread...my head is starting to hurt!
  11. Most of South coast is now clear of showers...as for howling winds...Yorkshire term is a nice breeze
  12. I was just referring to those of the 56million i have met....how many have you actually met in the last 2 to 3 months? Total strangers, spread across the country. Just wonder that's all. A very polite question, no dig intended at all. My total i would estimate is approx 150 to 200. Never spoken to them before, never will again. I know this is a mathematically small figure but as i said, not one person out of that 150 to 200 enjoyed the heat. Their kids might have, their grandparents might have but i didn't speak to them. Never said nobody liked the heat did i?
  13. I can confirm that. Since the hot spell in July, done 2.5 to 3k mikes across the country, yet to meet anybody who preferred the heat to what we have now. Not saying ever single person does of course but i've not meet any of them yet on my travels.
  14. Certainly a case of beware low flying teddies this August so far! Still time for a change though
  15. Summer or Winter it can be like a aisle in Mothercare....then amount of teddies and dummies flying about!
  16. Nothing at all to apologies for, the forum wouldn't be the same without your posts. Even i surprisingly enjoy them!
  17. And how far are your travels speaking to folk across the UK? Just wondering. Everybody i speak to, Devon, Hampshire, Norfolk, Merseyside, Scottish borders, Cornwall, London, Essex..( all last month, the ones i can remember!) are ok with the "cooler" temps. I'm not finding your majority, sorry.
  18. Outlook for rest of August looking very useable, showers yes but nothing to much. Temps very comfortable so plenty of scope for getting out and about without sweating to much! Can't complain at all.
  19. You've got unbroken blue skies now though...its called living in a maritime climate, variable so say the least!
  20. Agree, another fantastic summer morning here, sunshine, fresh temps, everything a UK summer should be, beats anything else hands down.
  21. You forget....everybody is different, your cold is another warm, your warm is another's hot. 16c i wouldn't dream of putting a coat on, like many wouldn't, its not as you put it a struggle with anything warmer, its just a difference in tolerance. Your tolerance of cold i suspect is very low, that's fine, its not a struggle its just a difference in how you feel the temp. And before you say anything i work daily in temp/humidity that less than 1% of the UK population have ever experienced. I don't struggle i prefer, as do most.
  22. Proper UK summers day, perfect temps, bit of sun at times bit of shade at times, nice breeze. Something for everybody, definitely nothing to moan about at all.
  23. Lovely start to the day, nice and fresh, blues sky, gentle breeze...if only we could have more mornings like this summer would be perfect!
  24. Lovely 20c today, warm, bit of blue, bit of cloud, nice breeze, perfect, whats not to like!
