Thankfully nowhere near the temps predicted in South Yorkshire,just scrapped 26c which will be a max today i suspect. Lot better than i was expecting!

Windows closed,curtains closed,air con on. Least this awful weather is only here for one day in South Yorkshire

Today has what i would class as a perfect summers day,23c,blue sky,light wind,easy to work and live with. Pity the heat is going to ruin it by the weekend,one extreme to another.

Bit hot!......Your a dam sight tougher than i am,i'd be cowering in a darkend room with the aircon on full blast! Joking aside i do feel sorry for the folk yearning the heat,June has been shocking for them,flaming June means something totally different this year. It's been the best June though for myself for years though,no hayfever to speak of,good to work in and best of all.....i'm in credit with my electric bill,little or no aircon use,feeling very well off indeed! Fingers crossed July brings something of a re balance for those after a decent summer spell of warmth,having to put up with weather you hate is not conducive to anybodies happiness,i know after no Winter last year to speak of.

Certainly no records going in South Yorkshire this week,Saturday looks the hottest at 24c,main issue will be humidity.

Looking like a really good summers week coming up in my area,not to hot,dry,bit of sun,can't fault it at all. Much better than the awful weather that was showing a couple of days ago,that heat has gone and a good proper UK summers week is here at last!

Good day tomorrow,the start of that long trip back to those lovely nights in,with the benefit of seeing the 2 best parts of the day..sunrise and sunset!

5 days to go...then that lovely journey back to those cosy nights in,fire on,curtains drawn and not being woken at 4am by a wasted sunrise!

Stunning today coming over the Pennies how much more growth there is on the hills,looks so much better than the parched landscape of last summer. The reservoirs are responding well,though many are still well down on usual levels at this time of year.

Even i must admit,today has been what i'd class as fresh for mid June! Seen quite a lot of crop damage,not good at all. To much of the much needed rain can be a bad thing in many areas.

So i take it having a view on means nothing now,i found many times last summer humid,is that a problem? Another day,same attack on my view from yourself. It is just my take on the feel on the weather. I work in conditions far in excess of 30c plus and 90 percent humidity,i know what it feels like every day,regardless of time of year.

Personally it's looking very good until at least the last part of June,no sign of the heat and humidity of last year,working conditions fingers crossed will be much better. Finding this set up a huge relief after 2018,that one i suffered in.

Got nothing to complain about this Summer so far,could do with a tad more sunshine but thats it really,no cost of running aircon,little hay fever,good to work in,no stuffy offices to visit and rest of June looks the same,not bad at all,makes a change from last year.

For me its fantastic! I genuinely love that time of year,no ramping,nothing like that at all,just my favourite time of year.

Watching that sun rise and then set beats anything Summer has to offer i feel,just makes me feel so much both calmer and relaxed. Especially on the commute to and from work,can't beat seeing the world wake up and going to sleep in my view.

Not long till go to the turn back to those lovely nights,curtains closed,fire on. Can't wait!.....oh waking up without those bloody birds singing!!!

Totally agree,i'm the first to realise we do need a fair degree of decent weather in the next 3 months,folk holidaying,kids need to be out in the fresh air,not couped up on their video games. Low 20's with the odd burst to mid 20's for me would be a very good summer. Hunting for those 30 plus temps in the uk is like hunting for proper cold in the Winter,usually just leads to a depressing end for the hunters! Moderation is the key to avoid disappointment!

Yep,i'm exactly the same,during the day i can tolerate it to some extent but its at night that i really struggle. I'm sure though this Summer will improve for those wanting the warmer temps but a 2018 repeat,very very unlikely..which personally i am very happy with!

Same here,i couldn't ask for anything better to be honest,very comfortable and good for sleeping as well!

To true,long may it continue,so much more comfortable now. First half of June looking decent as well,the awful heat from the continent shows no sign of darkening our shores..thank god.

Thankfully that is on the cards. Cooler fresher weather till mid June could also feature...fingers crossed! Thank god no repeat of last year's Summer looks likely!

Thankfully the mini heatwave this weekend looks to be a non starter,more than happy with that,least i can get things done outside now!
