Already counting the days to this coming Autumn,......if only i could skip Spring and Summer i would be so happy!

I fear there will be broken hearts soon on the Hunt for Cold thread,mother nature will just be teasing again i suspect. But at least it brings a bit of happiness for a brief few hours

Strange New Years Eve,folk walking about in woolly hats,scarfs thick jackets gloves you name it...very strange at 12c! It's as though they need to wear everything they got for xmas at the same time,very weird.

Seasonal weather this is not,working today and after lugging 3 70kg bits of kit up 3 flights of stairs coming out into 12c temps isn't what i call refreshing!....From what i'm seeing could be the first winter for a long time i'm staying in shorts,just a touch of Winter would be nice!

Sadly longer days from now on....

Nothing so far this Winter to get me out of working in shorts,xmas looking mild,New year possibly also,fingers crossed January will come up with the proper seasonal weather.....wouldn't bet on it though!

11c heavy rain,certainly a Autumn feel today,good job i'm in shorts still,wouldn't want to get to hot! But seriously not a great day for summer at all,especially on a bank holiday,lot of folk effected,not good at all.

Yesterday was near on a perfect Summers day for late August,today well that's different but that's what makes the UK climate so much better,one day differs to the next.

For me that's a price well paid for the cleaner fresher air. Still T shirt and shorts weather I know you'd disagree!

Always found it interesting how folk can have totally opposite views with regard to weather,for me Polar maritime air is by far the best source for air in the UK, But we are all different and i suppose that's what counts!

Can understand you wanting those temps it is still August!,Sunday even i must admit looks crap for most. but 14c for me is lovely,just right,i suspect you may get something more to your liking first half of next month,to be honest i wouldn't really mind it either,it would be short lived and not so intense,better for sleeping in..and for my aircon running bill!

....obviously your a fair bit lower down in Sheffield then,nowhere near to Bradfield,lot cooler up here. Probably peaked about now,showing 15c now,one degree increase. Point scoring though seems pointless really to be honest,got better things to do with my Saturday bank holiday.

14c in Grenoside,Sheffield......Its called being higher up. Micro climate,that's a good one!

Lovely Autumnal feel today,really feel so much more invigorated,energy levels up,mood up. I'll be making the most of this weather!

Yep we certainly are! That's what makes us interesting.... Still no weather in the foreseeable to get me out of t shirts and shorts,especially for working in.

What a difference a day makes,spent today jumping in and out of a car,6 calls lugging heavy kit,hardly broke sweat(well nearly),no banging headache,good nights sleep helped. Near perfect weather at this time of year for working,i know many won't agree,but for actually getting out and about so much less draining than even yesterday let alone the Summer we have had. No way i could have done this in June/July. I would have been in trouble health wise. Not the perfect weather i grant otherwise at this time of year if your holidaying or with kids. But for late August in the UK,not to bad to be honest.
