  1. Lets hope they do, a repeat of Saturday Evening would be lovely, without sounding too greedy lol.
  2. Nothing came of that shower, just light/moderate rain. Right under that CZ though it seems.
  3. Nice shot of it, can see it to the South of here. Wolvo Cell now producing Lightning near Penkridge, and just West of Stafford, this one may be producing soon.
  4. Certainly does, and now something developing and looking dark behind the Wolverhampton Cell too, might be back building. Or a separate cell.
  5. AROME los res, showing what Lance M mentioned storms going through the Midlands and into Wales between 11pm and 2am overnight tonight.
  6. Nice, tried to capture it with my cam too but couldn't really see it much, I agree, usually around now onwards for peak heating = max convection. I think i can see what you mean from here in Walsall, looks dark towards your way with quite big towers going up.
  7. Convective around here again today although not as much as yesterday, still keeping an eye on things though. Cloud sometimes have that real plumey look to them today too.
  8. Whats the outlook for tonight, are they gonna continue to develop for a few more hours?
  9. Is this a new convective line developing further South from the SW Midlands to Central parts of Wales?
  10. Very warm and humid in the sun, but we are right next to the CZ and back building of the line of storms through the West Midlands and East Wales, it is developing right over Walsall currently and seems to be back building closer to us in the Black Country as can be seen on the radar, here as some towers i caught as its developing, although they were much larger than they look in the images.
  11. Second storm just past here lasted a good half hour - 45 mins, not overhead this time but still a great lightning show and some moderate to heavy rain, 2 storms, 1 in daytime and 1 as it went dark, a very good storm day. Didn't expect to get quite this much, it was literally like a less severe version of May 2018 for the Midlands, almost the exact same track for the storms, just a little more vertical. First image is today (now) and the second is May 27th 2018. Very similar but like i said, less severe.
  12. Short but pretty beefy Thunderstorm about 45 mins ago, Strong gusts, lightning and torrential rain, and caught this bolt on cam.
  13. Didn't see the flash, but i definitely heard distant thunder.
  14. Coventry cell heading this way and can see it in the distance, huge thunder head with anvil. EDIT - Anvil already started to make its way over.
  15. New strikes in the Northampton Cell and also South Wales. Got a few large convective drops out of this.
  16. Very humid here now the sun has broke through, and revealing convective towers already
  17. After thick fog last night, its still pretty dull here, but there has been some brighter spells, even hints of some sun, so im hopeful it will break up properly soon as areas to the East are pretty clear. Need to get that heating going, to make the atmosphere ripe, then will just need a CZ. More of a chance today for these parts . Good luck to all.
  18. Its on the way, but the question is will is stay thundery or re invigorate or even make it/move to the UK? Time will tell, models cant help us now. Radar watching and Lightning Map watching is required.
  19. Yeah forgot to mention how dark it got, dark enough for the street lights to come on, only remember a couple of times that happening, and yeah Walsall really was hit severely with that rain, and of course we cant forget the tragic death of the elderly man that happened due to the floods too in Rushall, Walsall.
  20. Will always remember that day. and the night of the 26th into 27th too, i remember watching the storms make their way up from London, and warning some friends we're gonna get some big thunderstorms soon and by about 2am, it reached us and the lightning was so spectacular it goes into my top 3, with July 3/4th 2015 and July 23/24th 2019 being the others. Was watching these until about 4am when they moved on. Only had around 4 hours sleep because by 8am another round of storms was skirting to the west and some flashes were slightly visible but thunder was audible clearly. Then the rest of the day was muggy and warm and got quite cloudy, and around 3 pm the first signs of storms started showing on the radar, and was watching the first one just past east but thunder was continuous, then saw one develop exactly on the path where i was. These got bigger and more intense and kept firing in the same line for a good few hours. I think they started as elevated but then became surface based if im not mistaken, massive CGs with shotgun thunder were frequent, some pea sized hail and the rain was biblical, it caused flooding around here in places that i didn't even know could flood. Around the entire house there was surface water flooding but luckily didn't get too deep that it went inside the house. I went for a small walk when the rain got a little lighter and there was chaos with floods everywhere, even cars getting stuck a few roads up from me. Out of nowhere the heavens opened once again and got absolutely drenched in literally seconds, and had to walk through a river on a road to get back home, the storms continued until around 7pm. An amazing day weather wise.
  21. Live Cam Sant Sebastià Beach - Barcelona WWW.SKYLINEWEBCAMS.COM Live panoramic view on Sant Sebastià Beach from Barceloneta seaside promenade North of Barcelona, Spain is looking interesting with a storm or storms in the area, gonna hit the area soon i think, also can see what looks to be a shelf cloud/gust front in the distance.
