Don't think it will come this way tbh, but the curve on the back edge might give a little something perhaps if it manages to continue to develop but i agree still pretty nice watching it in the distance. -

Will we have to see, ive saw a couple things saying storms for the Midlands tonight but anytime from 7pm till 3am lol, so we will have to see and keep checking the radar/lightning. The cells around Milton Keynes are heading up this way slowly so the forecast might be relating to those. -

Nothing came of that shower, just light/moderate rain. Right under that CZ though it seems. -

Certainly does, and now something developing and looking dark behind the Wolverhampton Cell too, might be back building. Or a separate cell. -

Nice, tried to capture it with my cam too but couldn't really see it much, I agree, usually around now onwards for peak heating = max convection. I think i can see what you mean from here in Walsall, looks dark towards your way with quite big towers going up. -

Very warm and humid in the sun, but we are right next to the CZ and back building of the line of storms through the West Midlands and East Wales, it is developing right over Walsall currently and seems to be back building closer to us in the Black Country as can be seen on the radar, here as some towers i caught as its developing, although they were much larger than they look in the images. -

Second storm just past here lasted a good half hour - 45 mins, not overhead this time but still a great lightning show and some moderate to heavy rain, 2 storms, 1 in daytime and 1 as it went dark, a very good storm day. Didn't expect to get quite this much, it was literally like a less severe version of May 2018 for the Midlands, almost the exact same track for the storms, just a little more vertical. First image is today (now) and the second is May 27th 2018. Very similar but like i said, less severe. -

Short but pretty beefy Thunderstorm about 45 mins ago, Strong gusts, lightning and torrential rain, and caught this bolt on cam. -
