    never heard it that long before lol but I think the thunder echo's more in snow so you hear it longer

    I take this comment back as it looks like that area is turning more and more to very heavy snow now.

    Is there an area of higher DPs/temperatures up the seven estuary, as it has been showing rain around that area for a while now, nothings changing where the snow is falling though so that's good news for now

    Hopefully it will as many have said it, plus colder air is pushing down behind it which will cause the pivoting as it heads south later on . Maybe you could post a pic in here later if you manage to build a snowman ?

    Just done the exact same thing haha, and hopefully the snow what's incoming in the next half hour to an hour will stick around and stay as snow , Goodluck.

    It was met with panic or joy because a snow event like this hasn't happened for 4 and a bit years, so everyone is more sensitive to every bit of movement haha. Anyway look at these totals from the Euro 18z

    haha he said most of the midlands misses out, then tries to back it up by snow covering all the Midlands, thanks that was a good laugh BTW, I'm sure you will get your decent snow event this winter, just have patience and stop the trolling.

    I don't think models will nail the track until we're at T0, in a few hours , it will be now casting for sure.

    This should give you an idea for us in the Walsall area. The snow starts around 4ish though, just mentioning that as that isn't on the image.

    Is the streamer going to stay mostly in the far west and Wales now or is it forecast to move back east a little?

    More showers/lines of sleet and snow forming now and pushing into the region, may give another light covering with more over the hills.

    Snow melting slowly as temperatures are not at freezing but looking better today especially later as temperatures looking even lower so snow will settle better. EDIT - Now sleet
