  1. You starting to get a few flakes now Matt, check a lamppost ?
  2. It seems a little wetter but not much, as on Wednesday it just fell out of my hand when I tried to make a snowball earlier I managed to make one. But its still dry enough to blow around.
  3. Just swept the snow off the path now there's an enormous mound of snow, probably take till about May to melt haha
  4. These predicting going on for most of the night and slowly edging further north, and another spell of snow tomorrow night too, then looks like a thaw after that but may take quite a long time to completely thaw if this continues, some of us will have massive depths, even better than December possibly . Remember not to take charts as a certainty because many things could change and be different.
  5. About 5cm already and still coming down heavy, no amber warning, and still hours of it to come Image doesn't do justice of how deep or heavy the snow is.
  6. I am saying it in terms of the weather only, I didn't mean to cause any offense, I apologise if I did
  7. hahaha I know are . But there is potentially 2 more spells of snow possible from tomorrow to Sunday, and the cold isn't going anywhere, obviously the beast will be gone, but its certainly gonna stay cold, so everyone be happy , at least we are seeing a cold snowy easterly now and not just a dull and cold one. This is aimed at the ones who are feeling down, but it could have gone much much worse than what we have now.
  8. Why isn't no one talking about tomorrows snow and saying this is the last snow we have??
  9. haha, so we are literally 10 mins apart, I'm near enough in Leamore lol
  10. Boiler dripping, pipes full of ice, had to pour hot water over the pipe in the blizzard, not nice at all, it is truly epic out there though, so worth the wait this week Grass pretty much covered now
  11. Yeah they have big time :D, the precipitation is far more east than first though, that will help more of us get the heavier stuff and even if it starts to move westwards, we should still catch some heavy snow later
  12. That gap seems to be getting smaller though, just been in the gap, but now more moderate snow pushing back in
  13. Just the tops of the grass left now, I'm 90% sure that will be covered tonight at least, if not then tomorrow especially with the West Midlands now looking likely to be hit harder than first thought . I haven't checked any model since yesterday and kept radar watching and it was much better and seems to be working in our favour, I had a sneaky suspicion just like a 'couple' of others that we would be more in the game than apps, forecasts and some models suggested. Think BBC has updated their forecast and showing most of us in the Midlands staying in the snow till at least 11pm - midnight tonight before it moves away westwards.
  14. On the radar the current snow looks light, but its moderate with heavy bursts at times
  15. Not completely, some heavier pulses have developed in the front
  16. I don't know about other but this systems gonna hit the MIdlands and ive been watching it for a while and it seems to be intensifying as it moves north
  17. Now a better covering than this morning here now, and still coming down heavy
  18. Not settling again though Edit - Settled easy and have another dusting now and still snowing heavily
