  1. The next two-weeks look pretty 'heatwavish' to me, Karl? if 5-7 consecutive days' @ around 26-28C don't make a heatwave, I don't know what does...It doesn't have to break a shedload of records?
  2. There is a fair amount of Accas around this morning, but I'm not going to get ahead of myself.
  3. As long as it's better than yesterday's thundery drizzle, the gardens should get a welcome drink?
  4. Doesn't the Navgem always look nice, Mark? Snow on Thursday?
  5. From my window, I can see what looks like a 'Southwold Stonker'...Still not heard any thunder. It's as muggy as fook!
  6. Very similar over here, BB; some very black blackness away to our south, but no lightning yet...And, it's bin day!
  7. Plenty of convection kicking-off around here, during the last 45 minutes or so...
  8. Right quick...throw Paul Nutall in it and throw away the key?
  9. At least you've got some dying cells, PIT? I am right where this morning's BBC forecast predicted storms might be troublesome and, yes, you've guessed it - there's absolutely sod-all!
  10. And I'm having one of my Pete Seeger moments - where have all the showers gone?
  11. Must be the sea-breeze component? Seems to have calmed down a bit, now?
  12. Given a choice between today's 26C, wind and persistent cloud, and a sunny, still 12, I think I'd opt for the latter! Which should be okay, as there are no nasty, evil, voracious, Sassenach-munching midges down here! In the Highlands, the wee buggers hide wherever it's still and shaded!
  13. What an unusual combination of stats: Cloudy, notably windy and 26C!
  14. Just caught the BBC's forecast for tommoz...Rather juicy if it comes off?
  15. Whatever you do, SB, don't go back on the kidney beans?
  16. I could see that lot from here, too, BB; but, whatever you do - don't walk in the 'woofs' after dark; I used to be a werewolf but I'm all right noooooow! Coat in hand!
  17. Is that the one that's been fitted with invisible and silent stealth-fighters?
  18. I prefer to call them 'tablets' Moki - much more hi-tech IMO? Where's Lassie gone BTW?
  19. BBC forecast just warned of 'big thunderstorms' on Sunday...Or was that Saturday?
  20. Indeed, Mark...It's been rumble after rumble, but they are all to the north. Unlike the first one, which was to the south!
