Have we ever had a full calendar month without any sunshine at all??
I believe there was 20 minutes of sunshine in December late 19th century .. Cant find my Philip Eden book but its in that.. Someone hopefully will correct but it is London..Other areas somewhere or other im sure have sunless months..In Ireland it is 2.8hrs at Sherkin island in county Cork in Dec 2015 records go back from 1942..

Morning all .Another wet spell for Ireland here with orange and yellow warnings and possibly RED for Eastern Scotland through the rest of the week.. Just a Question for someone on the forum..The new rainfall radar has now been installed at Shannon Airport In the Southwest after months of upgrading..Why does Netweather not have the rainfall showing yet on there radar as clearly Dublin Airport is used and it also shows how heavy and intense babet will be going forward. I know we can all look at Met Eireann but would be great to see the broad picture as we can see the whole Celtic sea.. This is and looks like a very wet spell..
