  1. I totally agree ,today in Dublin is the most appalling conditions with driving drizzle an ocasianal rain feeling like a day on January 9th to be honest. Rotten is the word I cant believe its 4 degrees warmer than new years eve and even colder than the minimun temperature on jan 1st. For stained glass window sake its abysmal that we we can have the same boring bloody temperature every month of the year and I can only say its for the love of where we live and the love of our country that we put up with it, IM sitting in fire on and watching multiple episodes of superstore, its a bank holiday Sunday aaaarrggghhhh not a hope of anything nice happening today and the outlook is appalling.. Thank you MOAN thread RANT OVER...beer o clock now,,
  2. Wow ,just reading those newspaper cuttings whilst sunbathing in glorious Dublin it just reads like the weather is an army on the march lierally causing dread and misery. If it was these days a lot on here would be over the moon at the thoughts of a biblical thunderstorm in any area. I can imagine many at the time waiting religiously for the paper to read what was going to happen next.. Wonderful descriptions and many thanks I really enjoy reading these articles..

  6. Things are cranking up here in Dublin with a squall line imminent in the next hour ,Im imagining maybe 5-8mm and outrageous gusts by midday.Im off out to the pier.

  8. its unbelievably calm here by the sea on the coast in Dublin
  9. It's very simple. If it's an orange or red warning do NOT travel on country lanes and be aware of any large trees.

  11. The mornings are still fairly darkish but the real noticable evening extension of light is most notable between the 24th and 29th of January so good times ahead but its an amazing sequence of high pressure sticking around and I,ve mentioned it before and WOW if we had these syptontics in July.
