  1. Going by past experiences, I too believe we are going to have a cooler than average summer over here as well as fairly wet. For some reason, whenever we have a good spring such as this one, we usually pay for it once summer arrives.
  2. I am looking forward to reading the weather summary for this month once it is over, particularly the sunshine and rainfall levels.
  3. This prolonged dry warm sunny weather has been lovely. However, as someone who enjoys having a variety of many different things in life including the weather, as well as being a keen gardener, I am actually beginning to get bored of this weather now. As previously mentioned, it has been great but I get bored of any weather type which lingers on for weeks. I feel as if it's now time for something a little different. Even good things can very well become boring after a while.
  4. Another very warm day for April; feels much more like July or August.
  5. This March has got to be the most boring I have experienced in a long time. Normally at this time of the year the weather is fairly changeable as we shift into Spring, with unsettled days as well as some settled ones along with some temperature fluctuations. But as for this March, so far the weather has been pretty much the same. Constant grey skies, wind and rain and temperatures being around the same each day. In other words, the prolonged autumn continues.
  6. Temperatures may feel a little rubbish at the moment, but we need to remember that it is only early March after all and the temperatures are around average. You shouldn't expect it to warm up straight away. I do hope that we don't get any below average temperatures though.
  7. Something weird is going on with the weather. The sun is out shining brightly and there is no rain.
  8. It snowed lightly earlier on this afternoon for around half an hour, along with a hailstorm. But that snow didn't settle. Whilst I am disappointed, I was however expecting this outcome and at least it isn't peeing down with rain for a change.
  9. You are of course indeed correct. But during times of disappointment, especially considering that a good snowfall is certainly a very precious thing in this country, it's easy for logic to escape you. I am sure we will see another beast from the east again at some point in the future, but at the moment it feels as if snow is becoming rarer and rarer until eventually we won't get any at all.
  10. Is it me or is British weather getting more and more boring? I fear that by the time I eventually have children of my own, they will not be able to experience the joys of playing in the snow as we will no longer have any snow at all by that point. The way things are going, I can certainly see that happening.
  11. Mother Nature sure loves to troll us. I know from past experiences that we will most likely get the best wintry weather during the Spring when it is too late to properly enjoy it. Also, by the time March is here, the majority of us are hunting for warm calm sunny days by that point. But as usual, according to the charts the jet decides to move south as we head into March.
  12. As someone who likes more of a variety, I am now officially sick to the back of my teeth of all this rain, rain, rain. Whilst I have enjoyed the two recent storms seeing as they did at least add a little excitement to the rain, they were relatively short lived compared to all the rain we have been having, way back since late September with any dry days few and far between.
  13. All this rain is getting boring and depressing now. It's been mostly like this since late September, with cool and sunny days very few and far between. Hopefully, that will change soon.
  14. Autumn is definitely here now. Current temp at 19:17 hundred hours: 14 Celsius Highest temp: 18 Celsius Lowest temp: 13 Celsius Humidity: 100% Cloud cover: 91% (7 oktas) Pressure: 1006 mb Dew point: 14 Celsius Visibility: 2 km Wind speed: 22 km/h SE
  15. A lot warmer than it has been these past few early mornings. Conditions at 00:42 hours Current temp: 15 Celsius Humidity: 76% Sky conditions: mostly cloudy (6 oktas) Pressure: 1006 mb Dew point: 11 Celsius Visibility: 16 km Wind speed: 7 km/h
  16. It depends on whether you want to go by the meteorological version or the astronomical version, with the equinox taking place on Monday. But either way, I am really looking forward to some proper autumnal weather. I like summery weather but I feel as if something more autumnal is way overdue by now.
  17. A high of 25 Celsius is forecast for my area today. Quite remarkable for the last third of September.
  18. Supposed to be on the verge of autumn, yet it feels as if we are in the middle of summer again.
  19. Whilst I normally love warm sunny weather, I do think it feels a little weird this late in September. Especially when you look at how warm it is forecast to be tomorrow which is much more of what you'd expect during mid summer. Fortunately, after tomorrow autumn is going to finally begin getting underway.
