  1. Still sunny up here, at least until Sunday I think, then thundery showers
  2. Agree with that. Hasn’t rained in this location for 11 days and I’ve watched the rain and fronts move around and constantly miss us during that time. Going forward, it’s obvious this won’t last but it’s been a lovely, if cool, April here.
  3. Has arrived here now after a frustrating day IMG_6272.MOV
  4. Blizzard conditions here right now. Went from wet to white in about 15 minutes. Temperature 0.5 degrees. IMG_6272.MOV
  5. Thought I seen a really big flake going past the window there but it was an empty crisp packet. Darn!
  6. Haha I think you need to have a stiff drink Meanwhile my view of the hills has disappeared and the wind is getting up so I guess something is on the way…
  7. So frustrating as you can watch their “heavy rain/flood” warnings count down almost to the minute. 100% accurate rain warnings
  8. Wow yeah bone dry and cold were I am. Not even rain or sleet which I am happy about. Rather it miss me altogether than the dreaded “wintry mix”
  9. Looking at this system, happy for it to miss me now, since it’s looking like sleet rain mostly anyway. If this was summer and I had a BBQ setup for today, I’d bet my bottom dollar it wouldn’t miss!
  10. Bone dry here but very cold. No precipitation of any description, which I’d rather have than sleet or rain.
  11. I think you are right going by the footage. It could be any number really when all is said and done. Horrendous and extremely sad.
  12. Terrifying. Echoes in that footage of September 11th
  13. Those aftershocks you are suggesting are earthquakes in their own right. The odd 3-4 in the UK makes the news. Heart goes out to these poor people suffering this. Sometimes our boring plot of land in the Atlantic with few extremes of any kind, is something to be grateful for!
  14. Never known there to be two such huge quakes so close together in time and geography. That is shocking!
