I see there's quite the blanket warning out tomorrow for thunderstorms, fingers crossed they don't materialise, BBQ and the England match takes priority!
Very pleasant in the sun today with a breeze, current temp 22.6 c
-
Absolutely bucketing it down still, a welcome relief from the humidity and hayfever!
Wembley is going to be rather wet tonight!
-
Perhaps I slept through it but it just seems like bog standard rain, nothing special. Guess too far West.
Feeling very humid this morning.
-
Boy is it humid tonight! Absolutely sweltering, looking forward to see some rain (and some hayfever relief).
Looking exciting for the more Eastern parts of our region for some stormy weather overnight.

Some wonderful weather recently, high of 25c yesterday. Hoping the latest UKV is correct, 27 c is perfect, no need for 30c+ over the weekend
Beer gardens are going to be rocking this Sunday!
-
Local station was showing 28.6 c, absolutely glorious day! A shame these pesky clouds and rain have come to spoil the party, was looking to a few beers outside in the garden.

Quite pleasant in the sun and whilst I'm always a fan of a storm, it's not quite the same when it's only 15c.

Nice to have a hit of warmth, time to find a beer garden! Fortunately any storms won't be IMBY tonight.

Looks like we've got a few nice days coming up, wonder if we could see a 24c or 25c somewhere in the SE?
Really hoping this cold spell doesn't come off over Easter, all for it between November and March but with lockdown ending I want to be able to typically British and sit in a beer garden and get sunburnt.
Enjoy the next few days and here's hoping the cold spell fades away to nothing.

What a beautiful morning, already 14.6 c - feeling very Spring like! Wonder how high we'll get?
-
Gloriously sunny today, if you can't get snow it's the next best thing!
I don't think I've ever seen a -8c forecasted (BBC) tonight for my area - can only imagine how much colder it will be with lying snow in some areas.

Persistent light snow for a number of hours but melts very quickly.
-
So guessing the winds are now more Easterly which is bring some parts of the region who haven't seen much into play, It's nice to see some more moderate snow falling but it's melting quicker than it's laying, hopefully we get something more intense over the next few hours before it fades away.
I'm guessing where it's colder beyond London into Windsor, Slough etc. it's probably starting to accumulate nicely?
-
Great to see parts of London seeing some settling snow!
Nothing of note here at the moment.
-
Some light snow from that streamer reaching my part of the world, nothing special and not really settling either. Not sure how reliable the GFS is but there does seem to be a more Easterly element to it as the day goes on.
-1.3 c at the moment.

Keep an eye on the precipitation over East Anglia (say the bit over the Sudbury area). Doesn't seem to be weakening, and perhaps a chance it might hit parts of NW / central London.
Looks like the northern extent is weakening so no good for our parts but looks good for S/E London
-
I've never seen it snow for so long but accumulate to nothing. Pavements and roads nice and clear, bit of a dusting on grass and tables.
Good luck to those that get on the streamer action tonight!
-
Light to moderate snow over the last hour or so. Certainly picked up a bit but as soon as it hits the ground it seems to melt and then turn dry very quickly. Nothing special at the moment but hopefully tonight delivere something more worthwhile.
-
Still haven't gone above freezing today
Been sitting under that more intense precipitation running through central London to almost Reading for over an hour, nothing to report other than some very light snow blowing around in the wind.

I have a slight feeling one may be starting now - there is a heavy streamer in West London and an increasing intensity (over a wider area than a true streamer) from Kent westwards. We are seeing larger, and more, flakes now with a slightly lighter wind.
Currently underneath that and it's extremely light at the moment, not settling either but that's probably more to do with the wind.
Hopefully the intensity increases.
-
Some very light snow here in West London, nothing special/of note at the moment.

More easterly I would say.
Cheers, will save me some radar watching this evening!

Would West London do well out of a Thames streamer or would that require a more direct Easterly track?

Looks like there could be some excitement this afternoon in the form of storms!
