Started off with brilliant blue skies, now clouding over , humid feel to the air .

Morning, it's lovely and cloudy here , sun trying to poke through . We are thinking of a trip to Exmoor today .

Oh , there's not much more I can say to that except I'm sorry that the day has been a right off I terms of thunder etc .

Pardon? Lol , no I didn't but it has. Just started to rain . The clouds have a coper colour to them . You might be in line for a heavy shower or two as well .

I told you it to give up . Mine has reverted back to nice and sunny lol . Only for it to be changed back again ! I can't keep up .

It's dull but humid here again, but no sun so no heat being fed into the atmosphere. Maybe there will be a surprise pop up storm . I usually find that storms pop up from nowhere around here as opposed to more forecast storms if that makes sense .

I'm not sure the weather knows either lol . Ah well as usual time will tell won't it . You may be pleasantly surprised Liam you just never know . Mind you after your neighbours ' lightning strike earlier this month you won't want anything too dramatic I imagine .

I'm not very technological at the best of times lol but it wasn't that one. I'll tryand screenshot the forecast I have. You are right , do you know, at 6a,m there was one thunder symbol , then at 10 am a little shower and no thunder symbol and I've just checked now and wow it's a.l change again lol . I think they arenow casting to be honest. Hey ho . I'm not upset either way it's just very amusing lol . Thanks for pointing it out . I had to do a double take !

Dull and breezy here if the sun breaks through through it could be quite warm but I think it's looking unlikely . Amazing how quickly things change weather wise. A few more rain showers would be useful but we shall see.

No drizzle here but I see that the met office app has taken away the thunder symbol from my Taunton forecast . I think that given it's breezy but dull and no sign of sun here they are correct in their thinking. I'm still feeling very warm indoors though and very humid I just hope I'm not coming down with anything!

Sky starting to darken here as well in Somserset , though I'm not sure why lol as the radar shows precipitation a long way off .

Very gusty now and " milky " sky colour, temp 26 C . Sun does break through lifting the temp then disappears.

There is a breeze starting here as well with hazy sunshine and some cloud instability. Very breezy now milky skies but sun very hot and v sticky feel. Headache building . Along as I dont have to water the garden tonight and I get some. Sleep I'm not complaining.

Max of 29 C today , currently 24C . Felling poorly with the heat now, bad headache , nausea and dizziness so I'm sorry in one way it's ending but in another relieved .

32c here today and currently 24 C .it so hot and feels airless . Think sleep will be minimal .

30C here in Taunton , looking at the netweather radar it seems to be picking up rain near Exeter way , I thought though that storms and rain etc were strictly for the SE . Or has the radar had a bit too much heat and and malfunctioning? Lol .

Rain seems to be shown near Exeter and Cullompton way or is it thunder flies? I was under the impression that storms / rain etc were to be confined to the east of the country.

Cloud suddenly popped up here in very sunny Somerset but 30C still. I suspect just temporary cloud but we shall see.

Afternoon everyone , cloud has popped up in the last half hour , temp 30C and sticky . Beautiful unbroken sunshine this morning though .

I can't decide whether the sky is reloading for another round as it looks as black now as it did at 2 pm this afternoon .
