  1. Now snowing VERY heavily in Norwich despite the radar showing sleet it's definitely snow, very large flakes too, sadly not settling at present due to earlier rain but fingers crossed......
  2. Hardly, less than 1cm here and useless tiny flakes all day
  3. Noooooo it's only just started snowing again properly, why do I get suckered in everytime.....
  4. Smallish sized flakes here but snowing moderately and has been for about 30 mins now, what had thawed is starting to now resettle, fingers crossed it's going to keep this up for awhile so we get some decent accumulations
  5. It's gone quite dark here and snowing lightly, still very very little so far considering the hype for East Anglia guess we'll have to see what later on brings
  6. I hope so, we've had a little more than a dusting and it'd be great to see some more, having said that with what we have I can't get out to work as it's a C road so ungritted and I live in a valley so can't get up the hill lol.
  7. Well so far this gets a 1/10 from me as up here we had about 30 mins of snow grains and thats it, even in the city which normally does quite well it snowed all day but still ended up with bugger all except a fleeting covering and then it even rained as I was leaving the school just before 3pm this afternoon. Still at least we saw some which is more than some did and there's still time for more keep your fingers crossed people.
  8. snowing again here moderately, more than I thought it would looking at the radar, still no real kind of accumulation though but fingers crossed. congrats to everyone who has a decent amount of snow, just when they thought it was all over...... Bless theyre really sweet prof
  9. Well looking at the radar looks like a covering is all we're likely to see in Norwich this time round (unless Sat comes off here) looks like its all fading away now sadly
  10. PMSL that's brilliant Hopefulyl we'll get enough later to do the same, just about enough to make a snowball right now but still snowing (lightly)
  11. Runboy where are you? Im at Thorpe Hamlet at the moment and its lovely here with a good covering on the ground and still snowing and apparently the front edge that was here about an hour ago has just reached home fingers crossed for a huge load between now and tonight
  12. Snowing in Norwich now and seems to be getting heavier still relatively small flakes though, I hope this is just the front of it and we're going to get absolutely dumped on
  13. Bizarre according to radar should be snowing or at least raining (shudder) but its just cloudy
  14. Yeah gutted we havent got any yet today but the BBC were saying last night not till this afternoon for this area so keep those fingers crossed
  15. Yup looking great for us Norfolk types, we're on the north Norfolk coast now so fingers crossed. Since I started working in schools I havent actually managed a snow day yet
  16. Wow those pictures are beautiful shame we havent seen stuff like that here for a long old time Well we saw the grand total of nowt from this, not even a dusting despite being in one of the "usual favoured locations" which as a phrase really gets on my moobs TBH lol. 30 miles inland into the city they got a small amount of an inch or so but being a coastal location which was where the action was supposed to be (according to many) it just didnt happen, we had about 1 snow shower and lots of hail. What was quite amusing was about 15 miles east of where we are in North Walsham the local schools got a snow day yet further east than that there was nothing again. It does seem that it came in in a small strip down the east-middle of norfolk and inland we were just a little bit too far West (Cley next the Sea, NR25). Well here's to Feb I wanna get snowed in hehehehe Congrats to all who did get some decent accumulations and fingers crossed for next time
  17. About an inch fell here overnight but its very bright and sunny now so it'll probably all be gone by lunchtime
