it went by 9.30. According to the beep, 9c is very cold
Don't worry, London should see the Lofty heights of 10c tomorrow! You should be able to take off your double layers, scarf and puffer jacket tomorrow

It wasn't worth waiting for, so you didn't miss anything
Ended up with about an hour and a half of snowfall here in the end, some big 50p flakes, with a covering on the cars, grass and roof, road was starting to get a covering before it turned back to rain. Nothing falling now, but still a covering on cars / soil etc

Since the snow has arrived here the temperature has gone from 1.3c to 0.1c and still dropping, there's now also a slight covering on roofs
-
Settling on cars and soil here now, not the grass or tarmack though

Just as it finally starts to snow here the whole PPN type on radar turns to rain south of birmingham

Still got power here too surprisingly, half the street went out 2 weeks ago courtesy of Eleanor

Just went out in the garden to check for any damage, the wheely bin and hose reel is up by the side gate and we've gained a potted plant from somewhere

I'm surprised the aerial is still attached to the chimney stack, the wind is pounding down the side of the house

Time to get the Christmas lights off the roof before either I get swept off of it or the lights end up half way down the street

Looking good now from some of the models that an easterly could be around the corner! If only Essex Easterly was still here
-
I suggest you never do try it
Not sure how I managed to quote the wrong post, now it won't let me edit it!

Wow mine go back on the 8th. I'm really feeling like, what is the point of starting on a Friday. Wednesday sound much better. They finished on the Friday before the last 3 days as well. The school used the last three days as teachers training apparently. May be the first two days are also being used for those, although I've not heard such.
Its not that Australian bundaburg is it? Tastes like 10 year old mouthwash

I don't mind you getting it all, as long as all of the SE thread can visit NW London dumphole" to see it!

Currently 0.5c here with a dew point of 0c, maybe some wishful thinking will give me a better chance!

Now that todays snow event is finally over and tomorrow looking a bit too marginal I can safely say...

Nearly, slowly but steady....
Maybe a small snow dance will help?
Just over half an hour before the 12Z run starts!
