As expected its absolutely stifling here. Still 17c at midnight. In what world is that pleasant?
It feels positively tropical right now in the south east, I feel like I'm on holiday

I was watching the lightning in the storm over High Wycombe way. The lightning was very frequent, even though I’m about 60 miles away. It could be seen all over South Eastern England. If you’d looked towards the west about an hour ago you would have seen it.
Damn, I wish I could have, I have no line of sight out west due to houses and trees Wish I had been in the thread earlier now! Would've walked into the park for a better view if I'd known the storm was visible from this distance, it looked very impressive on radar

Nice site to view for anyone who doesn't know it, tracking cloudcover and storm development, unsure how accurate this is though

Something also very active west of bruges, not yet showing on NW euro radar, looks like its intensified out of nowhere faster than radar could pick it up!

Why have Estofex not put out a forecast today at all? I was sure they still do them over the weekends

Yeah sorry it looks there's a lot of missing taf info from the site I can't see it anywhere else either. Metcheck gives a bit of extra info with the decoded info, but still not brilliant, doesn't show the info we need

Anyone know why these forecasts differ so much, top is free NW forecast bottom is NW extra, which model does the free forecast get its info from?

Looks like a new cell has popped in the channel east of margate and heading west towards the thames estuary
-
The rain is nearly here!
-
Thought some here may appreciate this very early forecast, I couldn't see it posted elsewhere
EDIT:
According to the BBC the correct date is 27 August, 1956
-
I wish it was sunny and Barcelona got the rain, F1 qualifying starts at 2 lol
