  1. Currently raining and back down to 25c on the coast, northwesterlies can sometimes produce higher temps here...
  2. Well that’s it for me won’t be hitting 30c better luck next time I suppose
  3. How disappointing... thick cloud moving in off the sea
  4. If it was any other day these showers would die out, but Not today...
  5. Can see clouds bubbling up from the channel moving in, why so soon?!
  6. Yeah temps seem to fall away slowly aswell, was still 26c at midnight on Tuesday... hopefully it goes crash bang wallop early as have to be up at 5 in the morning
  7. I hope they’re right, seems to be rising very slowly here, temps like that are almost unheard of on the coast
  8. Sometimes I wish I lived slightly inland... oh well
  9. I’ve just scraped 26c where i am, however I can see high cloud coming in off the sea, it’s going to ruin it here in the coast I at least want to see 30c
  10. Yeah I’ve noticed this, a lot of times when it’s hot we’ll hit our max at like 11-12 and then it flatlines through the afternoon, I hope it doesn’t today but I bet it does
  11. Already 26c at shoreham airport at 8 am, if this keeps we should easily pass 30c before midday here on the coast
  12. It’s correct in saying 23c could be the max so I’m hoping it’s correct about tomorrow! Could go either way
  13. BBC has 31c here in Worthing tomorrow so you never know...
  14. These are localised events, if 40c were to come off although most likely it won’t, but if it were, liking it or not won’t change anything so may aswell enjoy watching the stats as they unfold as it’s a rare event
  15. And standard uk summer is exactly what we’re experiencing, some heat, a few storms(although not as much as I’d like) and some wetter periods, there’s no harm in wanting heat, it’s gonna happen whether one likes it or not, there’s no point pretending to not like it because it harms a few people, the same as I love severe windstorms however I don’t like how people get affected, nothing one can do about that...
  16. 23c and wall to wall blue skies and a very light breeze, lovely...
  17. Sunny spells some cloud and a max of 22.3c here today and pretty humid at 70%, currently 21.2c so a decent day nothing to complain about really for me
  18. Was only implying that the coast where I live is on average sunnier than London, which is true
  19. Then what other reason causes coastal towns like Eastbourne and Bognor to be the sunniest places in the uk?
  20. That’s true I’ve always thought that, whenever I get a train Into London I always notice when I get closer to London the cloud getting more widespread, and coming back on the train seeing the cloud slowly disperse to clear skies by the time we’re back on the coast, sea breezes and the South Downs close by are partly the reason it’s sunnier than inland..
  21. Maybe you should move to the south coast, it’s always sunny Down here
  22. It’s been pretty good on the south coast, lots of sunshine and temps regularly hitting 21-25c and even on the odd cloudy day it’s been humid so it at least feels warm, the only thing missing for here is heavy downpours and thunderstorms
  23. Currently 24.6c here with blue skies feeling very warm, patchy high cloud starting to come in from the north west now though, another nice day on the south coast been a lovely week off
  24. Don’t let last summer fool you into thinking all summers should be like that, your expectations of summer are like those in the med...
