    That was probably the heaviest most prolonged rain I’ve had for at least 4 or 5 months, very welcomed, feels tropical at 17c humidity at 98%

    I’m sure people thought this during previous warmer periods in the last century before it cooled down again with colder winters, saying we’ll never get colder records again is silly, it was only just over a year ago we had the coldest March and spring maximum on record on 1st March 2018

    Also noticed that temps do not drop that much after them either.. here on the south coast at least, a couple cooler nights but temps still nudging 20c by day, I suppose it’s still late summer

    Is it me or do cold fronts never seem to make it to the south east anymore, other than a thin band of light drizzle that doesn’t last 10 minutes, heavy rain in the north west but literally turns to nothing by the time it gets here.

    Blue skies and already 19.5c with 70%humidity and a light breeze from the south west, still waiting for the ‘shock to the system’...

    Being on the south coast I quite like an early gale and driving rain in September reminding me autumn is setting in, gives a much different feel to the summer just gone and season change taking place, however I also like a late blast of summer aswell either one doesn’t bother me I like any weather type apart from very mild in the middle of winter

    Felt hot at 25.6c max and pure sunshine and humid, not pleasant working in the kitchen, and a very clear sky rainbow just spotted ( or whatever they’re called)

    Seems to be the opposite down here in summer, every time it’s forcast to rain here it never seems to reach us or just goes around us

    What a glorious summer morning here, 19c barely any wind and I haven’t seen the sky such a deep blue like this since being in Egypt a few years ago, perfect

    It’s funny how it’s warmer now than it has been throughout the day currently 18.1c with humidity at 96% actually feels quite warm outside at the moment

    My last minimum below 10c was back in may, I don’t usually drop below 14c in August

    Just the last month or so any forecast for rain has either vanished or any showers have just dodged my area, bit on the chilly side however, I bet September is a warm dry benign month

    I for one am enjoying waking up to rain hitting the window for once, don’t normally get to say that in this country, been very dry here recently

    Nice looking clouds along with some over due thundery rain and a few flashes of lightning, was a bit unexpected

    Still 21c here and humidity at 81% The strong southerly wind off the channel and cloud cover stopping it from falling, going to be a warm humid night here despite the wind

    It always seems to be the way, I think it was Wednesday where there was a heavy shower shown right overhead on the radar, but nothing fell, only to find that my brother was at Tesco 2 miles up the road and apparently had a hail shower.

    I’ve just looked at the radar and see them just skimming my area to the west, Im hoping nowhere gets flooded however I’m hoping to catch One of these intense downpours, after I finish work that is.. lol

    I don’t understand why it’s so hard to get decent rainfall here..? If these Synoptics are struggling God knows when we’ll get our fair share of rain, unless we are just really unlucky

    It’s actually turned out a nice day 22c and lots of sunshine, although a tad breezy, missed out on all the rain so far..

    Been lovely today although I only got a max of 21c it still felt nice in sunny skies, hoping for some proper rain tonight and tomorrow as every time I’m forecasted rain for the last few days it gets taken away last minute, the only areas that seem to get it are the areas that really don’t need it
