  1. Latest EURO4 run just looks like pure insanity for Thursday afternoon.
  2. Looks like the 06z UKV gives another round of thunderstorms to more western areas on Thursday morning.
  3. UKV is still looking alright for most areas of southern England. If it was believed then there would be a second round of activity on Friday evening and night.
  4. Looks like the UKMO has gone absolutely bonkers again. Yes - that's the 22/23c isotherm getting into the SE. Pretty sure it showed something similar yesterday.
  5. And a snapshot from NW Extra posted to Twitter by @Thunder and Lightning.
  6. 15z UKV is a very good run for storms on Wednesday and into Thursday.
  7. Some shots from my Panasonic Lumix without any filters.
  8. Well, I don't even know what just happened. That was COMPLETELY unexpected. Stacked:
  9. Some lightning detected in a heavy shower not far from me. Haven't heard any thunder yet.
  10. Some hefty showers just developed from nowhere off the coast of Brittany.
  11. Anyone up currently? I think there’s a faint NLC extending from NE to ENE. Hard to tell though.
  12. Oh yes... this is also from Monday, in the evening. A nice shelf cloud along with some decent hailstones.
  13. Here is today's storm! The excessive amount of CG strikes makes it the best storm I have seen so far this year.
  14. Just heard a couple of rumbles from a storm that developed to my NW. Only seen one flash.
  15. Here’s a few.. I’ll have a proper look at my footage later.
  16. Also.. there was some mad rotation happening beneath a towering cumulus - it almost dropped a funnel. I wouldn't be surprised if there were funnel reports around the Huntingdon / N Bedfordshire area.
  17. Oh my goodness, absolutely huge crash of thunder just now!
  18. My oh my, what is the 12z GFS up to here? Chance of mid - high twenties in parts of England if this verifies.
