    I certainly wouldn't mind this from the GFS pub run! Just needs to be shown into the reliable timeframe though. This should result in temperatures climbing into the high teens widely. Not too shabby.

    Clear skies again tonight, and not cold too. Feels like a cool May/June night out there.

    Tonight's GFS pub run shows a 20c in N Wales. That would probably equate to 22/23c as the GFS underestimates the temperatures by a few degrees. I'm guessing Foehn is the culprit.

    The GFS underestimates the temperatures by a few degrees as well, so you'd be looking at around 16c widely if that chart verified!

    Some reports of lightning seen near Southend. Can anyone on here confirm this?

    I've set my camera up just in case there is a flash of lightning in some of the snow showers near the EA coast. Am I right about there being a risk of lightning in these showers, or am I being thick?

    It's been moderately snowing in Bedford for around two hours now. All of it is struggling to settle, however.

    Had an almost blizzard-like graupel shower here for about 10 minutes. Probably around 1-2cm on the ground at the moment.
