  1. Chucking it down with hail/graupel in stockport...surfaces covering again
  2. Hail/grauple starting again..this was a precursor to a serious blizzard earlier.
  3. Big event Bolton way by the looks..still coming down here but small flakes/sleet. A nice high pressure ridge would be good now, alas...
  4. Crickey that is getting up near 2010. Saw more on The peaks last week but even still that is impressive
  5. Said this 3 times tonight but that could be curtains now. Still flakes coming down but getting back to the 7pm mostly rain. Still, great to see HEAVY lying now for once, quite a few twists and turns. Decent event. Best since 2010, a year that probably won't be matched for 20years IMO.
  6. Not had chance to look, too good here for once! Just wondering how this was panning out elsewhere.
  7. 2010 style intensity if not depths. You average person would from here expect half a foot by morning. What a shame couldn't appen last week.
  8. To be honest no more than an inch or or so..not a massive event depth wise. Yet. But the most surprising given 25 years history of breakdown events. If your question was regarding my manhood, well a bit deeper than the snow over!
  9. Still absolutely chucking it down....wife in bed, ain't interested! Lol, in the snow event.
  10. Buxton has to be up there as the snowiest town in the uk? Amazing contrast driving towards Buxton from Manchester last weekend. Although some low lying town in Kent will probably trump it! If not for depth but for frequency of falls...anyone know? If its a Scottish town what about England?
  11. On lampost watch still looks like moderate snow but can confirm now sleet. Coming down though. Can't rule anything out tonight by the looks! Viva le block. On paper didn't look that hardcore but fair play this would usually have been all rain from 6pm onwards.
  12. Still moderate snow accumulating over previously slushed out paths. A classic example of why its wrong to say snow wont stick when the ground is wet. Don't get me wrong, no real depth but complete covering. Best event of the cold spell here.
  13. Tried to take a pic for you but not enough battery on phone. I know. It's a first.
