    We need to all measure the time elapsed from first flake to the "drip drip drip" sound. I'd give it 2.5 hrs tops here.

    I'd go off local experience from similar events. Unfortunately for me that means and hour or two of snow, quickly turning to sleet then rain. On every breakdown event I can remember its been that way. Not ruling out decent falls for others but or me I'm sceptical.

    Looks to me that the heavier stuff is gonna hug the east as it moves north (as forecast). I'm not expecting much, if anything.

    We had very little lying snow here at all despite best part of 20 hours worth of falling snow over the last week. There is no cover whatsoever left after today's thaw.

    Well, my final post of the night. Pleased there is some POTENTIAL at least for tomorrow. Will be worth watching this develop for sure. They will be a few places expecting little which will get a dumping. Pleased to be still in the game rather than "it's already too marginal" style situations. Night all!
