    Happy Birthday Gary! Stopped snowing here - nothing really settled. Just the usual cold, damp, grey weather day today. Again.

    I think TI misread my initial post completely - as in the lack of Steve Murr's posts in this thread doesn't bode well for settling snow of any note my neck of the woods (aka 5 mile radius of Greenhithe) LACK of posts being the whole point of my initial post and nothing what so ever to do with Steve's knowledge. Normally there are lots of Steve's posts in situations like this, and the LACK of them may speak volumes.... thats all I'm saying...!!

    Sums up winter IMBY 2012-13, certainly not expecting anything different this time now we are in spring! On a personal note, I think the lack of Steve Murr's posts this time around in this thread sum it up for this little neck of the woods... no chance of any form of settling snow. Roll on warmth (hopefully in 2013!!) Edit - this neck of the woods being where I live with a 5 mile radius

    That's my thoughts Nick - even if it does snow, I can't see it amounting to much on the ground... Edit - in this neck of the woods - aka the south of the Thames.

    If things get desperate, buy a torch and shine it out an open window... the only downside to that is the neighbours might ring up for the men in white coats...

    There was certainly a wintry mix falling from the sky while waiting for my train this morning - a mix of snizzle, wet snow and sleet. The wind out there is biting though - cut through me like a knife on the platform!

    I do still have my moments...! It is a hard habit to break As for the weather - from an IMBY prospective, I would actually rather be IMBY with lovely warm spring sunshine, hearing the first buzz of the bumblebee, tidying the garden, potting colourful plants... and watching Mr Raven sweat getting the hump cutting the grass for the first time in about 6 months!

    Blimey, I have just noticed I have made it past the 3000 post mark... about 2,500 of those were pre-2012 so at least I have curbed my waffling habit!
