More good dumpings for us me thinks. They'll start off in a line roughly around Southend at 9 ish and be in a line over us by noon as it moves E. Decent dumpings as showers will be heavy and continuous due to convergence. Sun may thaw the snow slightly but will be some heavy snow nonetheless if all sets up right. Of course, will be a case of radar watching but looking promising for our corner.

Hi, I'd like to put an idea of saving the radar animation as a GIF and then that being easily shareable on tweets, etc. I've seen it on Rain Alarm and its really useful when sharing it compared to having to screen record. Thanks, Jamie

Neil if you're going to make a comment, make sure you recognise that I'm talking about a different set of PPN that's not over your head currently. -

Snow randomly pepped up here and smacking all the windows. I'll be off to bed and hope a cm or two accumulates. -

Definitely worthy of a MO Amber. Hearing stories left right and centre here locally about cars piling up and nearly crashing into walls. Crazy. -

Manston now up to 14 cm. Only recently matched in January 1987 as a total I believe. Crazy. -

Manston at 10 cm! I'd hazard a guess and say its the highest snowfall total since Feb 2012. Jan 2013 only had around 6 cm and BFTE only had 7 cm. -

Snow is piling in here. 4 cm on wodden plank and 6 cm elsewhere in the garden. My poor grass temperature sensor is nearly inundated with a sudden change in surface settling in the last hour or so. -
