  1. It's more of a glancing blow from the Icon... Certainly not the high end temps of GFS! Either way you look at it we just can't seem to get a favourable build of pressure.
  2. The mean does warm up before crashing back down to earth with a bang later. Rainfall spikes not that bad.
  3. P5 will get the SE crew frothing at the mouth. Is it a mirage I see before me... When you've been searching for so long, the mind plays tricks on you.
  4. Not an ideal chart at day 10 from the FV3 it must be said... I'm completely miffed as to where the weather is leading us right now... To anyone interested, the met office are streaming the weather studio on you tube at 1pm...where they will be answering the publics questions... Maybe worth a look during these uncertain times.
  5. The 18z legacy is still bringing a decent build of high pressure. Low pressure to the South with very warm air being imported North... Just look at those uppers. Then into the unknown low pressure settles to the NW.. But temps still pretty impressive... Long way off... Forgive me if I'm a little out folks.. I'm half asleep.
  6. Not liking this guys... Heights building to the NW.. and a trough in situ... Looks to similar to recently for my liking... Let's hope its out of kilter with the mean.
  7. Yes NWS.. your correct mate... But I tell you what, its a hell of a lot more exciting than its been recently... Let's just hope some of it comes off..
  8. Brace yourself Pete.... Edd Stone.... The Kent clipper is coming for you.... The day the earth melted...
  9. Forget that... I've still got the splinters up me backside from the last one. I think better output today overall, I can tell by the much larger volume of folks browsing!! Eyes down for a good ECM.
  10. That's more like it GFS.. ignore the doom sayers.... Its off to the beach we go...
  11. Quite a difference between icon and GFS regarding low pressure at day 6. GFS not devoloping it to the same extreme for starters..... And oh my god.... I can feel a plume coming on. Come on GFS don't let me down... Me deckchair is becoming a rust bucket.
  12. Here is one for the summer haters... Low pressure in control by Sunday, so I would say next week is looking unsettled, especially away from the..... Wait for it..... The SE. On a positive note, it won't be especially cold rain.... But it will still get you wet.
  13. And bully's special prize.... No... Not a fitted kitchen.... Our very own brand new winamau GFS dartboard low....
  14. Wouldn't suprise me though, going from 10c to 30+c...in the uk there an old wife's tale..... Expect the unexpected....
  15. Great ain't it Karl... I didn't wanna point it out though, for fear of being told its so and so.... Houston..... We have lift off..... I hope....
  16. Yes, I think I based my post on the fact that high pressure would start to ridge favourably by day 10...compared to last year you would say its an average chart... But compared to recently, it's half decent! With the potential to improve at that stage. This seems to be the problem atm... Average charts are appearing quite decent due to the fact, it's simply been terrible.... We really do need to higher our expectations again Karl. Hopefully the ensembles will paint a bit of gloss on that water based emulsion chart.
  17. You can't hold a 10 day chart to its exact location! It's in a place that could quickly become very favourable.
  18. I'm banging my head against the door here guys!! Some are saying it looks OK.. Me included... Others saying its disappointing!! I really feel sorry for the layman....
  19. ECM not that bad.. Pressure a tad West... But could be worse... Its certainly better than what we have become accustomed to. And it ends pretty well.
  20. Well that's one way of spinning it! I would say heavy thundery showers could mean up to 50mm of rain in places, where up the road ends up with nothing. It's certainly not the washout of the last week. And I would think it becomes more settled away from the NW to end the week and beyond..
  21. Thanks PM.. hopefully an early taste of things to come later this year!
