  1. Here is the icon 12s take on it, it's very warm in most places, but the core of the heat remaining that bit further East.
  2. Yes, could be the difference between hot blue sky sunshine or oppressive stifling humidity.
  3. I tell you when you know for sure the heat is coming.... Everyone runs out of fans! Now may be the time to invest in one of these little gems.... And treble your money by selling it on Ebay. Azazel I never had you down as the moaning type. You will be moaning next week its to hot, then the following week you will be moaning its to cold and how you hate our climate.. Your a one off mate...
  4. Weather apps need to be taken with a huge dose of salt when it comes to temperature projections, they are liable to be many degrees out given certain circumstances.
  5. Pretty amazing how we can get a major Spanish plume in, but those in Manchester or living in a cave miss it! Hopefully it's well wide of the mark NWS, and you get in on some of the action... Crazy heat devoloping on the 6z,both the old one and the FV3.. could cause more than a few problems if everything comes together correctly... Its now a waiting game... Waiting for upgrades... Or the dreaded downgrades! If these ensembles were earthquake graphs measuring for tremors we would be seriously concerned.... Off the rictor scale in places. 25c being breached here and there, worth noting as well is the decrease in rainfall amounts as we move further ahead... All good if you ask me.
  6. 18z still bringing the heat... Its the pub run so it may have had a few, but good to see non the less!! Let's see if we can get a 50/100miles Westwards correction tomorrow.
  7. That's worse case scenario Jonathan, if under cloud cover and rain, then perhaps.... But plenty of sunny spells and it's gonna be a fair chunk higher than 13c...wow...what an ECM mean... It goes from Bermuda, to baltic in just a few days! Worth noting though there are still a fair few runs keeping it much warmer... Probably 60/40 in favour of a Warmer scenario.
  8. Let's try not to stress to much about day 9 folks.... Let's get some heat in and savour the moment first... Its been a long time coming... This could be the 1st of many hot plumes this summer... We maybe growing oranges come the end of it... Even a vineyard or 2.. Oh and even the boys from NASA..... they say... Yessssssssss...
  9. No dramas folks, some heat on the way... In places it could be hot... It could be very hot!
  10. ECM primed to bring some serious heat, especially to the SE Corner... Plumetastic. 200w.webp
  11. Not a bad effort from the Icon 12s...it appears to shunt the core of the heat away to the East... But note its still a very warm run... And towards the end there are some suttle signs of the heat making some inroads towards us again.... And there is a potential for some hum dinger thunderstorm activity.... Something for everyone there I feel folks..
  12. I think we definitely need some corrections Westwards there PM, looks disappointing away from Central and SE areas. perhaps parts of the NE as well.
  13. You spoke to soon Karl.... The CFS ain't having any of it... It shunts the heat away to our East!!! Watch all the other models jump ship now....
  14. Careful what you wish for Azazel, it could end up shifting that far West, it ends up in the states! Now that would be a downer!! But Yeh perhaps it would be good to look for a little correction Westwards on the 12s....couldnt do any harm.
  15. Certainly cross model support for a plume of some sorts though Karl, wether it be very warm, or hot is another ball game..
  16. Yes... Plenty of heat down there.. All 3 main models showing that nicely.
  17. Just what the doctor ordered.... 150hrs looks primed for serious heat.... Edd Stone your gonna wish you was in a factory furnace and not the farm next week!!! Lovely jubilee... Ps.. Quite liking the end of the 6z to... Pressure ridging to the south and relatively low heights over Greenland..
  18. So true Djdazzle, anybody calling time on it is clearly not thinking straight. And the failed winter of 2018/2019 also showed us how many predictions can go well wide of the mark! There is plenty of life left in this season yet.... Hell, it may not even get going til mid July! Know matter how many skills one has.....the future will always remain a mystery!! There is my glass half full approach for this evening. Bottoms up to the rest of the summer.
  19. Yes it quite a spread crew, it was nice to see the mean pulling away a little from the op towards the end though!! Looks like quite a bit of water to pass under the bridge just yet.
  20. No fear folks the op lost the plot with its much cooler theme. Edit... Only just noticed Karl had already posted the mean.
  21. Azazel literally everytime I see one of your posts on various threads, your either moaning about the climate or something else... Cursed! We had a fab summer last year!! We are on the cusps of a plume event next week.... It maybe brief, it may not.... The possibility of many more to come as well.... Its not all doom young man. Oh and I don't mean you any disrespect with this comment mate...
  22. Boooooooommmmmmmm, ECM gearing up for winter just a few hours after roasting us! El nino thanks for the heads up on your 40 degrees since 2015....we have been scraping the barrel with 40 Fahrenheit here mate....
  23. Could be an interesting set up with low pressure close by if this heat generates enough.
