Thats my thoughts, my South facing windows and blinds will stay shut but my other windows will be open, i prefer air flow than a build up of stagnant air,

Personally i am not 'frightened' i am off work so i will just 'chill' at home, but some of the dismissive comments about the upcoming heat on hear smack of 'willy waving' and it is pathetic! What is wrong with a little bit of caution for a couple of days? Which for SOME could be quite concerning!

Your whole post is full of contradictions and you are basing your assumptions from a completely biased personnel point of view! You are amongst many on here that think the next few days will be 'a walk in the park' time will tell if that is true, i very much doubt this outcome unfortunately!

I popped into the local clothes shop for a Kaftan in preparation for the upcoming heatwave but at the till i found i had to sign a waver that upon my purchase i would immediately depart Yorkshire and never return!

Hi Team, i cannot access the Radar/ Local tabs etc i am just getting an Error code 1S160/2 everything worked ok before the server switch today, is this a problem at my end? Everything else is working fine, i am generally on Samsung mobile, Tia WT

Yep, it is looking a potentially dangerous hot couple of days, so i have decided to book Mon, Tues off work, don't want to be at graft in that kind of potential heat,

If this comes to fruition around this part of the country records will be smashed, i have booked Mon, Tues off work next week as a precaution, i don't fancy working in that kind of heat!

Grey cloudy clag all day and horribly muggy at around 22-23c, but thankfully there was a sniff of a breeze, sun finally broke through briefly about 6pm. Tonight is thankfully slightly cooler than last night, so hopefully i can get a good nights kip

Still got some bits of 'green' in the tram lines, so local prediction is 2 weeks away before things start get going properly, although there has been the odd dabble on a field or two its very limited, Yorkshire wolds chalk is fantastic for retaining moisture, hence the vast amount of potatoes produced locally,
