  1. Early morning started out fairly clear with bright sunshine albeit breezy, and just for a change the cloud rolled in and the majority of the day was grey and breezy, a brief sunny interlude late afternoon and this eve back to cloudy, breezy carp!
  2. Yep the GFS sniffs out a theme early on then drops it for a few runs/days then picks it back up again ?
  3. For you guys working outside this past weeks type of weather must be a pain in the A5$£, i took last mon/tues off to fit new windows in my little workshop, took twice as long dodging the showers, speaking of which... i best get on with the painting before it rains again
  4. Quite a contrast this afternoon, broken cloud but warm when sun's out, perfect for a bit of DIY outside,
  5. It was a grey morning on the Wolds with the odd light shower, now a lovely warm sunny afternoon with a bit of broken cloud, although a tad breezy, perfect for a bit of outdoor painting!
  6. Just to add, i am not suggesting it is warm today because it ain't!! mid 20's for me with a nice breeze would be ideal but today on the East coast it wasn't chilly either! Ps - Each to their own and all that BS
  7. Yeah i got a text and thought about a diversion on the way home from work, alas once home, with the elec restored, i had to make friends with the cooker
  8. Grey overcast day on the East coast, had some really heavy showers this aft with thunder and few CG strikes but at no point was it chilly, as you would expect ! t-shirt weather all day and into the evening it is still mild, imby of course!
  9. Looking at the depth of the mud by the village pond that has washed down the wolds and talking to some peeps who were home this aft, the rain was biblical, the streets were awash from kerb to kerb and 2 power cuts one for 20 mins and one brief, I missed out whilst only working 10 miles away!
  10. Looks like we are in a sweet spot for storm potential today, i am at work at Carnaby but it may be a less than productive afternoon
  11. We have lift off! Thunder and lightening on the East coast nr Bridlington with a heavy downpour
  12. This morning started with a bit of drizzle, barely enough to 'sleck' the dust! Warm throughout the day, cloud eased back this aft briefly, now low cloud but a mild evening, watered the garden again
  13. It has been a 'warm' one on the Wolds today, got 25.5c albeit on the car temp gauge at work today, cloud pushed in late afternoon but has remained warm into the evening, we are getting to the point were a drop of rain would be most welcome tbh, on reflection it has been a great week weather wise around the solstice!
  14. It is often the best way, down the great valley to the coast, thats my 'neck of the woods' so no it well!
  15. Thanks for that @Weather-history, really good YouTube link, could near enough understand that, must be a Northern thing
  16. Glorious day on the east coast today, recorded 23c at work, still nice and warm now i am home, gentle breeze is pleasant, still 20c so a cold one in the garden in order
  17. Yep still pleasant out, just watered the garden and myself , after devouring a lasagne n garlic bread!
  18. So do we agree? That i was agreeing with you by agreeing, that i was right, for which we can all concur that me being right is generally the outcome, for which we can all agree!
