  1. I misread the title of this thread and thought it was a load of youths hanging around a bus shelter up to no good!!
  2. Grey cloudy clag all day and horribly muggy at around 22-23c, but thankfully there was a sniff of a breeze, sun finally broke through briefly about 6pm. Tonight is thankfully slightly cooler than last night, so hopefully i can get a good nights kip
  3. Still got some bits of 'green' in the tram lines, so local prediction is 2 weeks away before things start get going properly, although there has been the odd dabble on a field or two its very limited, Yorkshire wolds chalk is fantastic for retaining moisture, hence the vast amount of potatoes produced locally,
  4. A lot are locked nowadays Ed, due to thefts from them by low life, bottom feeding, waste of a skin, scum bags!
  5. 21°c at 23.15, it is a warm one this evening for trying to sleep in and the worst could be yet to come! , no breeze this evening what so ever!

  7. Grass will recover after a hot spell, it is quite resilient, and if your lawn is rye grass ure in trouble
  8. Isn't it a protective mechanism that grass has in hot weather? It will generally recover when the weather resumes to the norm!
  9. Been at a family bbq for my little nephew this aft, perfect weather, clear blue sky's with a gentle breeze to take the edge off, got a tad warm at times but no complaints from me!
  10. A few combines being 'dusted' off on the Wolds now! Seems a tad early but with the ongoing forecast i can't see a lot of driers being used, which will save diesel costs?!

  14. Been a glorious day round these parts, nice n warn with a gentle breeze, perfect beer garden weather now after working up a thirst earlier knocking down some old stables
  15. Registered 23c here on the Yorkshire Wolds @3pm, have been working outside since 8.30 taking down some old stables and it has been perfect working weather, temp dropped a tad as the breeze has picked a little now, Pub beer garden time
  16. Been a grand evening down the great Wolds valley! clean, warm evening air, perfect for outside refreshments by the village pond
  17. Bright blue sky's and 19c already, my only 'moan' is i am at work, roll on 5pm!
  18. This morning we a grey clag and tiny bit of drizzle , what a contrast now, bright blue cloudless sky's and 23°c
