    I reckon from around 9pm we should see more snow reports than rain.

    Plenty of showers to come later. See how the showers come from the NE then turn back heading SE over the Midlands.

    Increases the odds. Meto and NW show snow risk from around 9pm tonight.

    For my area tonight... Sleet and snow showers Saturday evening could give accumulations of 1 to 3 cm in places before clearing southwards overnight. Widespread ice is likely to form on untreated surfaces. Probably nothing will happen then.

    I reckon the band over snow heading for Leeds could reach us overnight, ATM it seems to be turning to sleet though.

    This was the clouds to the east of here a few moments ago. Sadly any precipitation was too far east.

    Looking out the window over Northamptonshire towards Middleton Cheney the sky looks amazing and there is a rainbow, so I think rain and snow over there.

    It's going to be boring here in south midlands this week if it's just cold and no snow. Radar shows a chance of a light flurry, but it's not looking great down here.

    Rob had the snow too early and too far south for today except for Wales and East Midlands perhaps, based on last nights forecast.

    Heavy snow falling on M42 near Solihull.

    Diddly squat falling here now despite radar showing intense showers.

    Proper snowing now here in Banbury. (Had to edit speeling twice..must be the wine and port mix)

    Looking at the radar, any snow seems to be turning back to rain/sleet as time goes on.

    Heavy sleet now in Banbury. This is the nearest it's been to turning to pure snow here, so am very hopeful this time. Within an hour should be just snow I hope.

    Rain & snow mixed here at the moment. Temp 2.1°C

    Temp 2°C here and still falling. Been raining steadily all afternoon, now turning more sleety.
