  1. Those charts are often wrong. It will be a case of nowcasting.
  2. Still proper snowing here. I wish it would thaw, as I had to leave my car in the road, as when I tried to park on the driveway it just slid off by itself when all the brakes were on due to the ice and snow.
  3. I was looking at some snow prediction charts for this week, and thursday looks the best with 4cm. It had Monday down for 1cm. Hopefully it might be wrong though!
  4. Looking at forecasts it seems the Midlands may do better for snow on thursday. I can't see us getting much out of this on Monday.
  5. Nothing in Rugby much. Just the odd flake blowing in the wind.
  6. Just had a shower here in Banbury, as when I looked outside everything was white, so there are still showers coming in. I had almost given up hope. I will be heading back to Rugby later this evening.
  7. Light snow flurries here in Banbury at the moment. Radar shows we are sandwiched between main bands of snow either side of here. Snow bands are running parallel with the M1 and M40 One band running just north of Cheltenham and the other across Northampton Leiceser, Rugby.
  8. Had covering of snow this morning in North Oxfordshire about 5am
  9. Snowed this morning on the M40 in Warwickshire between junctions 12 and 15.
  10. No sun here again today in the West Midlands, Just like every day of this month. Quite warm though, about 25°C Tomorrow will be the same
  11. Dry as a bone here in North Oxfordshire. No lightning or thunder......Nothing.
  12. Looks like we may get snow after all following some encouraging reports in the west country. Wind seems to be picking up here. I guess real people watching lamp posts are more accurate than million pound computers. Makes you wonder what we pay taxes for? Am going to bed now. Good luck with the snow.
  13. A respectable weather site is reporting light snow in Bristol area. (Not Metcheck) This is not the heavy stuff we were expecting. !
  14. My Maplins £39.99 weather gadget has animated snowflakes showing. The BBC £2 Million computer says a hot sunny day on thursday. Who is right?
  15. It's all going pear shaped. Don't think midlands will see any snow, just rain. Conspiracy theory?? BBC Theory?? Usual anti-climax?
