    ITN just said 10 - 15cm for West Midlands, yet the weather woman said 5 - 10cm.

    Oxford is only forecast rain and sleet, but 28 miles north it's forecast for snow.

    Met Office Forecast upgraded at 10am for my region...Heavy snow all day from 12pm to 9pm, then light snow afterwards from 9pm.

    The main snow event seems to start around 10am for most of us. Looking at the BBC map Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Mid Wales seem to be favoured spots, with a bit in Warks,Northants,Cambs direction.

    Sadly not joking. It was a non-event but for about 5 minutes. Looking at the radar I think only Norfolk & Suffolk stand a chance of getting anything out of this.

    For about 2 minutes then rain...over and out. Was a total waste of time.... No covering at all.

    The leading edge was rain when I went outside but now turned back to snow and temp starting to fall again. Temp 1.6˜°C Dewpoint -0.1° Main band nearly here in Banbury.

    WoW! Looks like a BIG upgrade on the snow!

    Temp now dropped back to 0.9°C Dewpoint also dropped to -0.3°C Snow confidence increasing again .

    Doesn't make good reading with all that rain about..... Temperature now risen to 1.6°C here, so at this rate we can only hope for snow.

    The best chance of any snow seems to be down the eastern half of the country.

    +1.1°C here and seems to be rising. Hope we don't just end up with rain like those in the North West.

    Heavy snow is forecast here for Saturday night, so looking good for this weekend. At the moment the snow is fizzling out just as it reaches here, as we are just on the leading edge of the main band Should get more intense later if the band holds current path.

    A few flakes starting to fall here in Banbury now. The main band of snow is just to the north of here and heading this way.

    Looking at the NW radar the snow showers are very slowly moving north west and more showers coming down from the North East which is a good sign for anyone in North Oxfordshire/Warwickshire

    I have just purchased the NW Radar sub, but can't find any instructions how to use it? Where can I put my postcode? Anyone know please?

    From reports it seems Yorkshire, Norfolk and Suffolk currently have snow showers. Later on the snow will hopefully move inland a bit more.
