    At +48 it had all of our region in snowfall 1st week of Jan along with a meto warning. Take note when it’s +12 only

    Day 10 is always a boom chart. Remember the day 10 charts pre this cold spell just gone. We were supposed to be buried with some posters comparing it to 2010 - it produced Dandruff here with any heavier ppn falling as rain. With upper air temps to warm for falling snow. Maybe the SSW could favour something a bit more fruity.

    Very very light snow falling here this morning. Slight dusting. - Woburn, Beds

    It’s the heaviest snow since the 1960s expected on Saturday over central, North and North Eastern Spain. Absolutely agree they should enjoy it, just trying to make a point, how remarkable it is that on the 7th Jan parts of the South have yet to see a flake. Yet spain of all places are about to get buried in a one in 60 year event.

    That unusual? Madrid is about to be impacted by the highest snowfall since the 1960s I would say that’s quite something/spectacular in fact.

    Snow warning extended south this morning for Friday to cover my area. Not expecting anything though. Expecting everything to pass to the North and west of here as it’s done past two weeks except when temperatures were to high and right on cue, ppn galore.

    Just got a call from my Pal who lives in Madrid. Heavy snow warning for the city tomorrow and Saturday. you couldn’t make it up really. The U.K. is the worst place to live in Europe if you want snow. Even central, southern Spain is about to get plastered.

    The UKMO gives us that all to familiar dose of reality this morning. Currently laying in bed and I can here heavy rain showers pounding the window. Surely UKMO can’t be wrong at T120.

    Hi mate, Im all for positivity but it’s also important to keep it real for members This forecast easterly is just to warm. Sleet at best in heavier showers. Ain’t no dancing around it.

    There is still nothing to suggest any snowfall across our region out to 72hrs We can look and admire the ECM snowfall falling charts but they have been as accurate as a chocolate Teapot. Total waste of time We need to look later in week for possibilities for our region. As always

    DP was 0c here with temps at 1.8c 3 hours ago and it rained All relative especially with no ppn around that’s conclusive for snow. NE, into West Midlands tonight look like with the best shot yet again. (Meto Warning too)

    Pure entertainment I remember 11 days ago the BOOM charts on the MOD threat for here with comparisons to 2010 Here I am sitting here with rain just passed an hour ago - and not a flake yet!
