    What’s this talk of “get the cold in first” Last night was -6c here and -2c until 10am with light snow flurries It’s now pouring with rain in a northerly flow. Get the cold in first means diddly squat!

    Agree, how fitting we finally get Precip and it’s wet sleet at best. Fingers crossed those 10 day charts hold up (a miracle) but no harm in wishing.

    Right on cue. When DPs are too high = showers incoming from the North Looks like a showery, wet late afternoon/evening for us. Can always guarantee ppn when the parameters are not conclusive for Snow

    Looking dry in our region in the reliable 5/7 days at least No sign of snow and no heavy rainfall (thank god) bar the odd drizzle

    10 days ago from Christmas Day we were in with a shot 10 days ago we were in with a shot for a snowy tomorrow Moral of the story. 10 day charts are pure entertainment 10 days on, another snowless 7 days awaits You get the picture

    Meto Website has my location (Woburn) bone dry for the next 7 days Looking at latest runs id sadly have to agree Looking cold, dry and cloudy. Snowless which is a shame but thankfully we get a break from the past 3 months deluge of rain.

    I Agree. Easterlies are far more reliable than a Low Pressure System in from West. However 4th Jan Is still a long way off for either a Convective activity bombard to a damp drizzle damp squib. fingers crossed it’s showing 12T

    What with this predicted 48hrs ago via Meto and models. Anything showing 4th Jan onwards is fantasy. I suggest to everyone to keep it real and keep your sanity for anything remotely wintery T24 Maximum

    It’s said this all Day, since 5 this morning Dont put to much faith in an iPhone weather app. My elder aunt has been more reliable than that app.
