With Dew points gradually decreasing and temps starting to fall especially in north of region = and so the ppn over the NE heads Sw into West Midlands once again.
Looking dry and chilly for our neck of woods tonight.
All good here @Jackski4
Here we are well into this cool/cold spell and still nothing materialised despite models and TV forecasts
I know where my moneys at over the next 5 days
@Daniel* Frankly you’re sounding like a mouthpiece for ‘Yes it will snow”
Come back to me in 4 days and let’s see whose right.
Happy to put hands up if I’m wrong but I doubt it
Looking across on board all models including Meto/BBC forecasts there is very little chance of snow for our region in the next 5 days
Perhaps if you’re lucky, sleet at best during any heavier PPN
Need a good dollop southwards of the those LP systems at the end of the week.
Hi @Jackski4
NE direction come Monday will not produce snow, across UKM, ECM, Meto/BBC forecasts support sleet at elevation at best.
we need to wait until end of week if those Lows can drop south
Its currently raining here with a temp of 1.5c
I agree the BBC are inaccurate when it comes to snowfall
But with the meto not on board don’t expect any snow in our region for the next few days.
Maybe some sleet over higher ground in the east winds early next week at best
Think it may be a case of the wait continues for us in the SE/EA to join those further north and west.
Latest BBC still not going for snow early next week, Chris Fawkes actually mentioned heavy rain for Kent on Monday.
Hopefully later in the week we will finally see some of the white stuff.
Totally agree Paul
10 days ago I was suppose to be experiencing some moderate falls of snow in the form of showers from the N/NE.
10 days on - it’s pouring down ? with temps at a 2c for cold rain.
