  1. Chocolate teapot and are taken from the 0z run, only really accurate a week out...............at best
  2. I didn't say every square inch up North lol , I know full well areas don't get snow. Saint on TWO moans like mad he misses snow so it is of no surprise you have mentioned the infrequency in Liverpool
  3. Not interested at all if I am being frank. For me it's about MBY, sorry if that's selfish. Most people would say " big deal " when being told there is snow up North.
  4. Ok, it's not extreme weather, lowish temps, a front approaching . It certainly isn't a wow factor. People aren't surprised when snow is mentioned up North.
  5. Unless there are systems/fronts and other that what's currently being discussed, there won't be any , you won't see any warnings suddenly crop up, I think this week is virtually sorted now
  6. Beeb forecast have lowest temps around 2 c by day ( south ) but mentioned sharp overnight frosts. Windchill from this tomorrow in the South -2 More widespread snow in Central Southern Scotland on Tuesday. No mention or chart shown for the LP in the Channel, tells me it's insignificant. Mild and wet next weekend. Standard winter week I'd say.
  7. But wasn't this going to be snow a plenty set up I have seen this many times and end up with nothing ( I'm talking MBY ) IMO it's a brief cold snap with no WOW factor.
  8. Barely touches the UK, need it 100 miles further North, that isn't happening IMO Unless it pivot's
  9. The Beeb have the whole of the S Coast getting Snow, probably as far North as 20 miles inland
  10. You clearly have a lot to learn, people chase snow, they don't come on here looking for a frost lol Most are looking beyond this week because there are no snow depths to talk about, no chat of warnings etc . Searching the next signs of a block. Will it be cold yes, will there be many Ice days ? I doubt it, will most of the population see -10 at night ? I doubt it. Reading the MET update - Towards the end of the week or more likely over next weekend, the start of a transition back to less cold conditions is likely as Atlantic systems start to arrive from the west brining spells of rain So I doubt very much models are overdoing zonal flow....................as much as it pains us.
  11. Oh dear - not this old chestnut again, its the Model discussion thread, not the pre 120h thread. It's also a good way of looking for trends. I can't see you commenting against charts that are even further a field. ODD Then use a BBQ
  12. Frontal snow ..............................yeah If that stalls a bit, might get a covering before it goes wet
  13. A week today still low temps across us, If MBY can't have snow the I hope for severe frosts at night and Ice days ...................white everywhere
  14. So close yet so far.......................a near miss. look at the purples across Belgium
  15. One thing is for sure with the 18z, it brings many snow opportunities to the N of the Midlands
  16. Totally agree, I doubt MBY will see anything, love too but just can't see it, yes surprises pop But.......
  17. And potentially through the week until it warms up next week, looking at the charts
  18. After the chase...........................It would be pant's let's be fair. But things can change so let's see
