  1. Yes but if we are honest it really is about MBY, i think many would take high risk high reward as was shown a couple of days ago and even yesterday morning and on AD's Met Office video. The cold isn't in for days after Thursday / Friday have passed, so it's a sort of " big deal " comment for those that stay dry. Of course we have the luxury of February and even March to deliver.
  2. Just shows what apps are like, I have refreshed and refreshed but where are Metcheck getting that from for MBY LOL
  3. Yep and in slack winds they aren't going very far, remember I am talking about IMBY, no doubt some areas that are close to the moisture will do ok.......I think, but my money would be on a dry week for many down the spines of England and Wales That's bang on Kas ,I remember Dec 2022, everyone saying instability and features will be popping up , cold for sure, snow no
  4. Could do with a 156 and ppn chart on the ECM to see the LP across the South, need that 50 - 100 miles further North ............................to satisfy me LOL
  5. I'm a bit underwhelmed if I'm honest, seen these situations before, MBY will end up bone dry . Yes it's nice to see frosts which stays all day but ultimately its all about the snow. I await the lot of ppn to approach,
  6. If I'm honest I am in two minds, I'd like the ridiculous depths of snow as per the OP and take my chances further down the line, taking into consideration the chat about Feb. Moving it South and leaving MBY with virtually nothing isn't appealing.
  7. Odd comment The area of snow on the OP will differ so many times, as i said yesterday this isn't ironed out and won't be until the end of the weekend at the very earliest. So to say someone has a better insight into the tracking of the LP is a tad odd
  8. Yes but as you know this could well show 4 more shifts North 3 south blah blah blah, the 18z is nearly a carbon copy of the track AD showed with the white shading
  9. Serious snow event here with deep snow many hours of falling snow Almost perfect scenario
  10. Heavy and persistent snow for the lucky few.......................on this run Now we need the LP to clear off E/SE
  11. Just one option and there will be many many many more even before Sunday
  12. I remember toes and fingers being numb with the cold, getting in and warming them in front of the rayburn coal fire and having hot aches. Great Winter
  13. The Gold is the Det run, yes AD did say the Central England is favourite and showed the shaded areas, but the zone of snow could be 50 miles North or South.
  14. If people looked at the MET vid with Alex Deakin, it is a possibility but the majority of options went South
