Now then, wonder where that snow shield positions itself this season.
Seriously do think we will see some snow over the next 24 hours.
Watch the snow shield NES !!
Can you call them snowman these days ??
I am sure someone will be wanting to change it to snow he/him or snow she/her.
But either way let's hope we are all building them.
Just shows doesn't it, I believe you weren't expecting much and we were kind of expecting that and got virtually nothing.
Well I have had more posts removed, have had a warning from them for daring to mention the North East in thar thread. I am sure a siren goes off when I post as everybody else's seems to be fine, especially if you mention the word south !!
I was brought up on the lakes estate, the closes or the bronx as it was called haha.
I can also remember once being in the evening gazette for building a 10ft snowman on the field outside my house - those were the days !!!
Think you could be right NES.
We had a dusting in Guisborough but nothing more, I think the met are just too keen in putting out warnings these days, obviously been stung in the past and don't want to risk itself.
I often find that in set ups like this we get the odd surprise heavy shower and streamers etc, here's hoping for the best in the next couple of days and then hopefully the main event on Thursday comes to fruition, please not sleet !!
Frustrating.
Them winds that keep the snow out to sea never seem to push the damp dreary misty foggy drizzly conditions out to sea in the summer when the rest of the country is basking in sunshine.
Under a warning for today to Friday, let's see if it comes off, snow starting to fall slightly north of my location, expect we will see the start soon, bring it on
Just been for my morning walk, you can feel a chill but nothing too cold as yet
Let's see what the rest of the week brings, hopefully we get to see some snow but its about now when we get into March that I am looking forward to them nice sunny and warm mornings.
So we have got the rain this morning, forecasters never seem to get that part wrong - let's see if them snow showers follow later today, tonight and tomorrow.
