  1. Seeing what I believe is heat lightning to my s/w, no thunder I'm assuming it must be the storms over the Shropshire hills atm
  2. I know, I feel sorry for anybody who's missed out, not just the storms but anybody desperate for rain and the forecast for the next week looks dry and not a drop around
  3. Main of it has gone to the south of us looking at the lightning maps although I don't complain I've been spoiled for storms the past few days.
  4. Another flash of lightning seconds after I took this photo
  5. One cg bolt and a lot of rumbling, seems very elevated lightning wise once again although I've got a lovely pic of the clouds going over the sun
  6. Okay which one of you lovely lot has broken blitzortung Okay which one of you lovely lot has broken blitzortung
  7. Constant rumbling and a strong breeze from the s/e, current view at the moment
  8. Seems to have gone quiet here although it's looking rather dark towards the s/e although looking at the lightning maps I think there decaying storms. Saw one cg bolt from the storm that passed about an hour ago and lots of booming rumbles but must've been very elevated as I didn't see a lot of lightning from it.
  9. Sounds a lot beefier than the one we had yesterday
  10. Rumbling nicely over here, not sure if it's passing to the east though
  11. I think your right with it being elevated as mentioned by other members too. Rain was definitely biblical, the paddling pool in the garden now has a couple of extra inches of water.
  12. That's what I noticed too, thought there would've been more lightning given the humidity and the right conditions.
  13. A lot of cc lightning and some good rumbles but not as frequent as I thought they would be, I think the main part of this storm was slightly east of us and not overly photogenic as regards to the lightning but even so its a great start to the season and I'm certainly not complaining
  14. I want one of those shirts, in Ladies of course.
  15. Hopefully they might drift more your way too, good chance of them popping up anywhere near
  16. Evening peeps looking set to be an interesting weekend of weather, couldn't ask for better my two favourite weather types, thunderstorms and heat
  17. And once again the north sea crud has made its presence known, tbf I'm not sure it even left but It don't look like its clearing any time soon
  18. This muck just ain't shifting today, had that look of getting brighter about lunchtime but no. Looking at the satellite its pretty thick everywhere and I think we'll be lucky to get any glimpse of sunshine at all today. Absolute rubbish for June
  19. True there mate, it's just ridiculous the thought of turning it on in June.
  20. It was up until yesterday and since yesterday we have joined the east in the cloudy gloom fest
