  1. Nothing here but tbf nothing was forecast to happen here today storm wise, anyway some chances perhaps on Thursday and Friday with hefty showers about, let's see what develops for us midlanders.
  2. Eagle Eye Pretty much bang on mate, not a single strike reported outside the 'slight' zone but within the moderate and especially high risks, it has been fireworks galore, very accurate.
  3. Anyone notice that continuous back building cell west of Stirling? I can imagine there be serious flooding issues up there at the moment, especially near hilly areas.
  4. I feel very jealous of anyone that lives in Skipton where that insane storm is currently parked over, what I would do to get a storm like that this summer.
  5. WeatherWatchmanG Cardiff Sailing Club Webcam WWW.CAMSECURE.CO.UK Live webcam from Cardiff in Wales UK located at the lovely Cardiff Sailing Club. See live views of Cardiff Bay and out towards the Bristol Channel.
  6. Just look at that cell near Cardiff currently over the sea inlet, one of the most prolific lightning rates I think I have ever seen. God help any fisherman in that area. I won't get anything today but it's still very exciting looking at how potent these cells are becoming
  7. Wowzers those cells have come out of nowhere in France and bloody hell I would love to be under one of them, absolute beasts of storms.
  8. Good to see activity is starting to develop, some pretty potent storms near Londonderry atm
  9. Some big storms tomorrow in parts of Scotland, my grandparents live on the Isle of Skye and forecasts predict storms to slap bang over that sort of area, now they rarely ever get thunderstorms up there but defo will be watching the radar tomorrow, even though nothing will spawn anywhere near me.
  10. SakuraOwl We weren't built for this weather? Utter tripe, if that were the case, we'd all be dead by now.
  11. Azazel I wouldn't say it is horrendous, Monday ain't looking fantastic I must admit but the remainder of the week is looking alright and any rain that falls could be showery and thundery, anyway the forecast you are looking at says 30 to 40% each with the exception of Monday and clearly the temps will be higher than what is forecast on that app you got.
  12. Mapantz You serious bruh, I can't even drink one shot of anything with lemon in, too damn sour, I'd rather me some Stella Artois, nothing better
  13. Fen Wolf Oh I do apologise, it just sounded a bit sarcastic, I suffer with horrible paranoia and can easily misinterpret things especially on a online text. My bad mate
  14. Fen Wolf I really don't appreciate your sarcasm, I don't look forward to negative outcomes because of the warming world, I am looking forward to extreme weather becoming more extreme - from a weather enthusiasts point of view. Any harm in that?
  15. Met office have got a thunderstorm symbol for my location on Monday, same day I am getting my first tattoo.
  16. The scary possibility is in the future 2023 could be classed as a cool year, we are in for very dark times indeed and I'm looking forward to it, warmer globe only increases extreme weather
  17. I shall go for 31C, I'd rather not even reach 30C this year but I think that's just a fantasy wish these days so I'll go with what I put.
  18. raz.org.rain "I don't think I've seen thunderstorms in May before" That I find hard to believe
  19. Albeit it is cloudier than May 2020 but so far in my area at least, it is definitely very similar to may 2020 in terms of temperature and dryness, dryness especially.
  20. Weather Enthusiast91 You guess? We got the rest of May, June, July, August, September and even October for a storm, the season has only just begun
  21. LetItSnow! That is nuts, not surprised given the echoes on the radar, insane.
  22. wow very fierce storm over Bradford, lots of lightning as well, not to mention it is very slow moving so flooding seems very likely indeed
  23. Well it's an awesome day here so far, manage to get some strimming done. This may has been really quite good so far with only 3mm so far and if high pressure dominates for the majority of the month, it could be exceptionally dry in these parts.
  24. 2003 and we all know how great of a summer that was. The reason the summer was good because I was born in that year, so you should all thank me for that year being good if you were alive then that is.
