    Perhaps hail stones can grow larger under the moons gravitational tug. They would be effectively lighter and able to remain in the cloud for longer, gathering more layers, before dropping.

    I've got a habit. 1/2oz a day, of dark drum, or similar shag, deep inhaler, no filters. For me it's a strong addiction and even when I'n satiated, a reflex action. Even being very busy/washing-up all the time, doesn't help. 2 hours without one and I'm cerebrialy flagging. Roll on a complete ban from the next government - half of me says. Sounds like your doing well Chris.

    Croeso i NW SnowDan. It's 10C, partly cloudy, which it has been all day I think, with a gusty light breeze. Dry all day, unusual sunrise light. Edit: Mini gusts infact.

    Was speaking to my folks near Llandysul, west Wales, about 40miles or so south of the tornado. They had extremely heavy rain from a thunderstorm that night (Monday), which came in around double glazed windows onto the carpet. Very bad backyard flooding.
