  1. I'm not sure I like their new radar, unless it's my old monitor. Bright lime green background? I don't like change.
  2. Mostly clear, cloudy to the west, slight breeze, 8C. Min 6C. Rain 1mm.
  3. Mostly clear and sunny today, I missed the straight edged front this morning. It's 10.5C, mostly cloudy, light breeze.
  4. I've got a feeling it can all be made quite simply out of elastic bands, if you see any.
  5. Lathekil Dale - a place where they used to do a lot of turnery, before tragedy struck. Cyclegenesis - Nottingham.
  6. Mostly clear at the moment, near calm, ~13C. Min 7C. Some rain overnight, but nothing in the gauge again! Turns out there's a hairline crack - not a packet of wotsits.
  7. Had a hail and rain shower about an hour ago which was a little squally. Currently 8C, light breeze. I'm sure there was a fair bit of rain last night, but strangely only 2mm in the bucket (24hour total). Odd.
  8. Mothamatics - something you need to be good at to understand the Butterfly effect.
  9. Hi Paul. Is there any chance a few skew-t charts could be added to NW lite?
  10. Just tipped a handfull of mm's away from earlier that I found in the rain gauge. Annoyingly, it blew over the other day, spilling it's contents. I think I heard it go. Raining lightly at the moment 10C.
  11. Luckily I saw it gusting to 99.98 aswell. (Not really sure what my prob was earlier with posting). Well windy here at the moment which is really saying something.
  12. 1.5C and crystal clear sky. Toying with the idea of walking into the countryside...
  13. Nice and sunny, just a couple of wisps about. About 11C currently, light breeze. 30mm rain yesterday. Edit: Well, it says 11C, but it obviously isn't.
  14. Cloud cover charts tonight and tomorrow morning. Maybe a slight chance I'll see something!
  15. Here's a rather simple sunshine recorder... Flexible photovoltaic strip, convex (i think) running a cheap quartz alarm clock. Calibrate for sunshine, using black sticky tape and a Cambell-Stokes sunshine recorder
  16. Thanks Rollo, I've saved that. It sounds quite involved, perhaps I'll just make a model one for my Tracy Island.
  17. We used to love each other so much I suppose, though how would I know. Cold, lettuce storage how can you say that woops now look what's happened.
  18. Nondescript weather. Some rain overnight and yesterday evening only amounted to about 9% (though was expecting very little anyway).
  19. Currently nearly 5.5C, mostly cloud but some clearer sky encroaching from sw, calm. Min 3C.
