So how's it going back in my old stomping ground?.....all snowed in?...hope so!....down here in Wiltshire it's not been too shabby at all, 12cm of level, with higher drifts and it hasn't stopped yet!... Anyhoos, I'll start you all a shiny new thread soon, so please finish off any posts...ta!

not impressed!....went to the village shop and there was only 1, yes 1 bottle of Speckly left!...some barsteward had nearly swiped the lot before me!...luckily there was plenty of Hobgoblin left so all is not lost! oh yeah, on topic, light flurries of snow now, maybe some convective stuff coming of the Bristol Channel to top up if they can hold together.....About 12cm of level snow here with 1 foot drifts in places. The local council have done a good job as the main road (A3102) was well gritted and is comfortably driveable

snow lighter now than it has been, a dryer patch moving in from the west, but behind that about 30 miles or away looks some beefy snow echoes heading this way from the Bristol Channel........Time to put my booties on and head up to the village shop as more Speckled Hen is required for the afternoon shift at home!..

I don't know whether or not that road was gritted to be honest. Personally I wouldn't risk it as you could end up sideways sliding into one of the fields!

Just popped outside and then ran back upstairs to the missus, my face glowing with cold I declared..."Hey Wench, get yourself sorted and come and get 6 inches of fun!".....to which she replied sarcastically and without even looking out of the window..."6 inches, there you go again, exaggerating again!"......Why do I get that nagging feeling that she wasn't referring to the snow?
